They do and they dont. The facts are the facts here the Ravens over the last 3 years under this same team they have had under Flacco and this offense and Harbaugh and Ray Lewis,Suggs, and Reed never find a way to beat the Steelers late in the season when they are tied in the standings in the division and the winner of the game ends up taking control of the North. The Steelers find ways to win those games the Ravens dont and until that changes there is no reason to believe the results will be any different this time around.

Right.... I got it... This game is only dependant on the past. Makes sense... to a Steelers fan. using your logic, the Steelers would have lost to the PAts yesterday.. Correct?

Didnt the Ravens and Harbaugh a few years ago send a memo into the league saying they didnt want to play anymore primetime games in Pittsburgh since they had problems winning at Heinz Field under the lights??
Yeah, and look where that got us lol!

All depends on what team suits up, Attack Mode Ravens or Lethargic Ravens. If its the former, we win fairly convincingly....if its the latter, we get embarrassed on national tv twice in three weeks.

I dont feel comfortable making a prediction quite yet.

Gotta love Steelers week!

Yep, I think Harbaugh should mandate that the first three drives are no-huddle. Even if they are 3 and outs. Cam's head would explode. POW!!!! I think we play this game well. I have a strong feeling that it is going to be back to normal between the two of us. 3 point difference.

I do agree the Steelers just outplayed the Patriots. Dominated them. But what I also saw was the Steelers ability to keep the Patriots in the game. Missed FGs. Costly turnovers. When it was time to run out the clock, the Steelers chose to throw (giving the Pats extra TOs) a few times.

This game will probably be another close game like always.

The Patriots definitely screwed up big time on the Gronkowski TD there with about 2:40 left on the clock. Belichick has got to throw that flag there and challenge that play and save time and he didnt do it. It probably should have been ruled a TD by the refs from the start but the fact that Belichick didnt challenge it when he had 3 timeouts in his back pocket is on him and not the refs for missing the call.

Not quite yet, but it's early in the week. I'm certainly not feeling like we will get a beat down like we gave to them week one.

I really hope we can but our offense has a hard time showing up when on national television so maybe just once we can play a full four quarters and show the country it is time to fear the ravens.

There is not a team in the league that the Ravens cannot beat IMO...if everyone shows up. If our offense brings their A game and the defense continues to play with passion then this game is ours! GO RAVENS

If the Ravens that put pressure on other teams by calling an aggressive offense shows up then this will be a competitive game. If the Ravens from the Titans, Jaguars, or Cardinals game show up then you can kiss the round 1 playoff bye, good bye.

I didnt say it didnt count all I am saying is the Ravens never beat the Steelers late in the season when the division is on the line is all. You guys still think you are going to sit here and talk about that week 1 win over the Steelers if the Ravens dont win in Pittsburgh next weekend?? I doubt it while that win will still count in the standings it will pretty much be forgotten about.
A win is still a win and without that win we wouldnt even be in the position we are right now wild card or division

All week on here all the Ravens fans kept saying that the Patriots own the Steelers and the Steelers never beat Brady and their offense will run all over the Steelers defense, now everybody is sitting here saying the Patriots defense and their team in general is horrible and the worst they have seen in years. How about giving the Steelers a little bit of credit here as well for stepping up with so many guys out like Harrison,Farrior,Smith,Ward, and losing Woodley for most of the 4th quarter as well. It will be a battle next week no doubt with the Ravens it's always close the 2nd time around later in the season because there is so much on the line.

But until the Ravens and Flacco can prove that they can beat the Steelers late in the season in November,December, and January when the games have more meaning to them and not in September or early October it's hard for me to see the Ravens winning this game. Especially seeing that the Ravens having been taking steps backwards the last few weeks with their play, while the Steelers have been playing lights out the last 4 weeks and just beat the Patriots yesterday who had 2 weeks to prepare for them and got dominated.
Lotta swag coming in here and talking like that considering you lost to us by 4 TDs, bro. I'll give you credit for having a pair.

I didn't think the Patriots were going to beat you. I think they have a horrendous defense and would not be surprised to see the Buffalo Bills win the AFC East when it's all said and done. Your D showed up and I expected no less.

The bottom line is your OL sucks and Ben is going to be on his back a LOT. Historically, that's when he starts making his boneheaded blunders. I'm not saying we're going to torch your D (again) this time, but you won't have time to throw deep balls so scratch that off your to-do list. You know there's a snowball's chance in hell of us coming out flat or uninspired for this game. We know you're not either. Low scoring game this time, and close, like it always is.

Only if they come out the way they did in week 1. Otherwise I don't see it happening. The Steelers are too good lately to be playing the way they have lately and expect a win.

I voted no, of course.

Hard to imagine another blowout either way this time.

Just looking forward to the usual agonizing, hard fought, stressful, last minute win/loss.

It never seems to matter how many times the Ravens get to Roethlisberger. He has usually come through in the end or the D has forced Flacco into a crucial turnover.

We haven't forced nearly enough turnovers this year. If that trend continues next week, you guys might just get the sweep.

7 turnovers to the Ravens again won't help either, lol.

Turnovers will probably decide the winner as usual. I'm looking forward to adding to the grey streaks starting on the sides of my head. Thanks, unhealthy obsession with my team!

The o-line has been playing a lot better since Starks came back the Tennessee game. They havent lost a game since then and the pass protection for Ben has been much better. Having Starks on the left side going against Suggs as opposed to Jonathan Scott who Suggs has tortured in the few games he has played against him will make a huge huge difference. Ben might take his sacks in this game but at the end of the day Ill take a guy like Roethlisberger on my team when the game is on the line in the 4th quarter to make a play over a guy like Joe Flacco who has proven more times then not in big games against the Steelers and in general that he just cannot get it done...I know a lot of Ravens fans on here loathe Ben and that's fine but there is not one Ravens fan that can honestly sit here and tell me as we sit here today that they wouldnt rather have a guy like Roethlisberger leading their team late in the 4th quarter over a guy like Flacco who has choked time and time again.

This game will come down to one big mistake; penalties, turnovers, etc. It's up to our offensive line and WR's. As few holds, false starts, dropped passes, and blown blocking assignments as possible. We also have to get Ben down, and shut down Wallace. It's going to be a tough one.
