So next Sunday is a huge game for us Ravens fans. We've never swept the Steelers since Joe Flacco and John Harbaugh came to Baltimore. This is our chance to make a big statement and prove that Pittsburgh no longer has our number. So what do you guys think? Can we do it? I personally think if we give 100% like we did week 1, we can be unstoppable.

The Steelers have really only played three teams with good defenses. The Ravens, Texans, and Jaguars. They lost to us and the texans and won by 7 to Jacksonville. They beat the Pats tonight but the Pats defense is one of the worst in the league. So I think with all their offensive line problems we give them a hell of a game in their house and get a huge win.

Their Oline can't handle our front 7.

I am optimistic. That's all I can really offer at this point. A friend that is a Steelers' fan texts me tonight with, 'HA so the REAL football game was great' (alluding to the Steelers/Patsies game) and so I was asking him what he was trying to say. He started pointing out our struggles against 1-5 teams and I noted that the Steelers had struggles against both Jax AND the Cards as well and he says, 'Yea, well we beat one of the best teams in the AFC' and I texted, 'Yea, well so did the Ravens in Week 1 by a margin of 28 points. Who was that against....?' I never received a text back.

I took what I call the cautiously optimistic approach, choosing the middle choice about the O-line. I'm not going to predict a win, but I also have confidence that if the coaches and players properly prepare, and Cam gets his act together, we could pull off the sweep. We came so close last year, so I believe it can be done. I hope we can execute well enough so that the refs aren't a factor against us as well.

It can be done, and I thin k we will beat them. I just wish I didn't have to listen to chris collinsworth on snf lol he definitely hates us. We gotta watch the refs in this game as well.

we have a good chance. if they run the spread offense that much like they did against NE we will get 10+ sacks as a team. they have to respect our defense. we have to respect their defense. we are pretty much on the same level right now i guess and i don't expect something like week one next sunday.

All depends on what team suits up, Attack Mode Ravens or Lethargic Ravens. If its the former, we win fairly convincingly....if its the latter, we get embarrassed on national tv twice in three weeks.

I dont feel comfortable making a prediction quite yet.

Gotta love Steelers week!

we got an exciting come from behind win yesterday BUT let's keep it real!

the steelers have won 4 straight (just beat the Patriots) and their offense plays very smooth, crisp and with a swagger while our Ravens offense has been consistently sluggish, lethargic and very non-productive. now, the Ravens have to go into Heinz field and play a team that has been waiting for some payback after week 1 to "prove" that they are the better team in the AFC North? i believe that this win vs the Cardinals was a huge confidence booster for the Ravens, but the Cardinals are not the steelers! i am hoping that the Ravens get off the bus in pittsburg and ready to play behind enemy lines to bring home a win! i expect a win!

The Steelers D won that game yesterday! I mean, the PAts D is one of the WORST in the league... Ben will actually get hit this week, you can BET on it! It also seems likely that Lamar Woodley and Harrison will be out.... If that's the case.... The Ravens chances are getting better by the day!

I actually think the way both of these teams have played really works in our favor. I don't like to see us struggle like we have the past game and a half, but most likely we will be looked at as the under dog again against Pittsburgh this week and I like that much better than going in there the clear favorites. I feel our team when it plays at 100% should be clear favorites against any team in the league but we have been a little up and down so it's understandable. It will be a tough fight and I'm really hoping we can get Grubbs and Evans back for this game. Unleashing Torrey Smith against them for the first time shoulkd be fun to watch as well, but the O-line must show up give Joe time and this game should go in our favor. Love Steeler week!

All week on here all the Ravens fans kept saying that the Patriots own the Steelers and the Steelers never beat Brady and their offense will run all over the Steelers defense, now everybody is sitting here saying the Patriots defense and their team in general is horrible and the worst they have seen in years. How about giving the Steelers a little bit of credit here as well for stepping up with so many guys out like Harrison,Farrior,Smith,Ward, and losing Woodley for most of the 4th quarter as well. It will be a battle next week no doubt with the Ravens it's always close the 2nd time around later in the season because there is so much on the line.

But until the Ravens and Flacco can prove that they can beat the Steelers late in the season in November,December, and January when the games have more meaning to them and not in September or early October it's hard for me to see the Ravens winning this game. Especially seeing that the Ravens having been taking steps backwards the last few weeks with their play, while the Steelers have been playing lights out the last 4 weeks and just beat the Patriots yesterday who had 2 weeks to prepare for them and got dominated.

I wouldn't call yesterday's game domination. It was 8 points and that Gronkowski endzone catch should have been reviewed. it was a close game, much clsoer than you seem to think. Also, people on here have been calling the pats D weak all season. You are new here so not sure where you come across putting words in people's mouths.....

I think most people give credit to the steelers and recognize their improvement through the season.

The Ravens offense has been takig a step back mostly due to the loss of Ben Grubbs and really a totally different o-line this season. I watch bothte Houston game and the Pats game and I saw a lot of trouble in the Steeler o-line also. This is going to be a weird/frustrating game for both offenses but at the end of the day I think we have the better defense and that is why we will win this one.

Don't come to a Ravens board looking for Steeler love... The Ravens offense has struggled at times, no doubt.... Though, I think if Joe gets time to throw the Ravens will win. Let's face it... There IS NO WAY, the Steelers offensive line can stop the Ravens PAss Rush. You can forget it. Ben is going to have to pull a rabbit out of his...nose to put up more then 17 pts. We matched up really well early in the season, actually we dominated the Steelers... Everyone said prior to that game we didnt have a chance... we see how that worked out. Granted, playing in Pittsburgh is a different deal all together but we have the horses in the stable to get it done. I really believe that.

Our pass rush is gonna destroy the cheeseburgers OLine. The Pitt fan here needs to realize that the cheeseburgers shredded a 32nd ranked pass defense coupled with a nonexistant pass rush, where as the Ravens are top ranked if not close to top ranked in those categories. Ben won't have 5 minutes to find a receiver Sunday night like he did against the Patsies. They won't be able to run the ball, their receivers won't get those 10 yard cushions either.

see, this is the problem that i have with steelers fans. you cats ALWAYS come up with one excuse after another! it is pathetic! first, Joe Flacco couldn't beat the steelers with ben playing. HE DID THAT!! now, the Ravens gotta "prove" that they can beat the steelers late in the season?

It isnt an excuse it's a fact. Flacco and Harbaugh and the Ravens team in general is 1-5 against the Steelers going back to 2008 when they play the Steelers in either November,December,or January where playoff implications and win or go home are on the line. The only win they had against them was in November of 2009 where Dennis Dixon was the QB for the Steelers and the Ravens still needed OT to win that game. You can sit here and deny it all you want but it's a fact and the numbers dont lie. The Ravens team in general whether it's on Flacco or the Ravens defense just do not find a way to get it done late in the games against the Steelers when they meet in December when the division is totally on the line or in January when it's win or go home.

The Steelers outgained the Pats by nearly 300 yards and held Wes Welker who has torched everybody so far this season to 6 catches for only 39 yards. Other then the TD the Pats got in the final 2 in a half minutes The Patriots only score of the game came on a Steelers turnover deep in their own. Brady on the Pats offense went 3 and out a number of times and couldnt get anything going against the Steelers defense. So while the scoreboard says the Steelers only won by 8 the numbers on the stat sheet indicate that the Steelers pretty much had their way with the Pats and dominated for the most part on both sides of the ball.

If this was a day game, maybe. The fact this is a Sunday night game in Pittsburgh with the way they're playing right now, I don't see it happening, as much as that pains me to say.

I do agree the Steelers just outplayed the Patriots. Dominated them. But what I also saw was the Steelers ability to keep the Patriots in the game. Missed FGs. Costly turnovers. When it was time to run out the clock, the Steelers chose to throw (giving the Pats extra TOs) a few times.

This game will probably be another close game like always.

Dont forget, beating someone early in the season doesnt count. The Steelers are technically 6-1, since the first game of the season doesnt count in the standings.

They do and they dont. The facts are the facts here the Ravens over the last 3 years under this same team they have had under Flacco and this offense and Harbaugh and Ray Lewis,Suggs, and Reed never find a way to beat the Steelers late in the season when they are tied in the standings in the division and the winner of the game ends up taking control of the North. The Steelers find ways to win those games the Ravens dont and until that changes there is no reason to believe the results will be any different this time around.

I didnt say it didnt count all I am saying is the Ravens never beat the Steelers late in the season when the division is on the line is all. You guys still think you are going to sit here and talk about that week 1 win over the Steelers if the Ravens dont win in Pittsburgh next weekend?? I doubt it while that win will still count in the standings it will pretty much be forgotten about.

Didnt the Ravens and Harbaugh a few years ago send a memo into the league saying they didnt want to play anymore primetime games in Pittsburgh since they had problems winning at Heinz Field under the lights??
