Baltimore Ravens At Pittsburgh Steelers

I'm sitting here watching this Steelers game. I seriously hope our offense comes ready to play 60 minutes or we will lose because the Steelers have been solid on both sides of the ball.

it's Officially Steelers Week!

6-2 vs 5-2

We can take control of this division next Sunday Night, we just gotta be able to do what we did against them in Week 1 next Sunday Night.

I'm honestly worried about this one... we can either come out and light it up.... or *sigh*.... we could come out flat and leave the game broken, battered and embarrased losing by 20 points.

I don't think the Steelers can do much against our defense with that O-line of theirs. I know it's played better since week 1, but it's not great. If we can take care of the ball for once and move the ball methodically with Joe, we should have this game won.

If the offense uses the no huddle a lot then I like our chances. Our offense is much better in no huddle, the Steelers are hurting on defense and I think there's something to be had against them using it.

I'm not all that worried about their offense. I can honestly say I expect 3 sacks from Suggs. We just have to limit the penalties because we all know the refs love a chance to wave their own terrible towels and keep Ben from making big plays.

That makes two of us. I hope we have Lee and Grubbs back. Then our recivers get open, and Joe gets protection. Imagine, The human hughlight real (Boldin, for today), Evans ( A deep threat who has chemistry with Flacco), Smith( the young and the restless), Pitta (like Todd Heap), Dickson (Vernon Davis type TE), and Rice (stud). Our offense is loaded, and so is our defense. Joe needs to show up though, or we won't win (Firing Cam might also help).

Do you think we'll try the same thing we did last game?

No Woodley, Harrison, and Farrior does help. I hope their gone, big advantage for us if they are.

We better not make the mistakes we've made the past two weeks. We go down by 21 against the Steelers in their building, we are done. Fast start, no turnovers, red zone TD's, we will beat them.

Well, we humped the pooch last Monday night in front of the nation, here's to hoping we reeeem ourselves on Sunday night.

I'm nervous at best. They looked good today and ben is in his zone.

True. If we win and those three don't play then no doubt we'll hear it from Steeler fans but it won't bother me one bit.

It all comes down to special team coverage and our offensive line.. We get those in check this week then we should be in good shape
if not.... It'll be a long game

That feeling in my gut of how the offense tends to faulter in prime time games really makes me cautious on this one.

Go head strong and hit em hard!

If we no huddle, we can take advantage of their aging defense and tiring them out before the 4th quarter and we'll have a shot. Just that the only thing I'm worried about is if Cam shows up.... and we all know he will. All I want is to not have a repeat of the playoff game.

we need to decide if we are going to be a dominate run team or pick apart defenses with the pass but we all know we don't have that many veteran wideouts. But this isn't just about the offense this is about u 2 cam cameron u need to pull flacco aside n set him straight about the play calling or u will be out of a job next year mr. If we don't fix this problem we are bound to be in for a rude awaking this season

I really hope we get Grubbs back and wish we could get Evans. Grubbs is missed on the line and our inexperience at WR shows at times.

Here's where we see if Cam Cameron can turn the corner. He needs to call that shotgun offense that we ran in the second half. I think if we run that we have a good chance of winning.

Im really annoyed that everyone is calling the steelers the best team in the afc like its an automatic thought...
This morning the countdown crew said and ive heard it for the past two weeks..
Soo annoying.. Guess we gotta shut them up again

I am really really nervous for this game after seeing what they did to the pats. This might be the deciding factor for Cam. We need to play 60 minutes of football, not 30 like we have been doing. I hope they work hard in practice this week to figure out some plays that actually work in the red zone, you will not be able to beat the steelers off of field goals. We need to get touchdowns. I doubt Grubbs will play and I am also doubting Evans will play. We will have to take them with who played today most likely. I am confident in our defense in making stops, but you also can't just beat the Steelers with defense, they are going to be really ticked from how we squashed them in the first week. They will want revenge and we can't let them have it.

This won't be the beatdown it was in week 1. Steelers look more like, well the Steelers. Plus it's in Pittsburgh and they will be fired up. We will also. Everybody just needs to do their job and execute. Looking at you Mckinney and Oher. Please get healthy Grubbs.

I bet Grubbs and Evans just happen to be healthy enough to play in this one. This game is going to win or lose the division, and I hope we can put together another performance like we did in week one. I just wonder how the Ravens' prime time curse will affect them.

I wonder what the injury report for Ward, Woodley, Farrior, and Harrison will be like
[/quote]

Don't forget Taylor, too. That was a concussion, not a stinger like the Steelers claimed. I don't think you lie, motionless and face-down, on the ground for minutes because of a pinched nerve. Could be wrong but Reed's stinger, he was rolling around in pain.

Bingo. That , and pound the rock more than we have been lately. Today the reliance on the passing became a neccessity early because we were down big , and the shotgun offense is something the Steelers won't be used to seeing from us , but I hope we don't go crazy with it. We rushed for 170 yds. against them in the first game , and they've given up 4.5 yds/carry so far this year , so I think we can run on them again.

Feed 'em a big pile of Leachy Rice !
