Some did. Most said he needed more time. He kind of got thrown into the fire with Evans' injury. He's coming along. He still makes rookie mistakes but he'll get there. I see no reason to think he won't be everything he's expected to be.

I was actually defending the guy have been for a while. Even before the Rams game.

you werent the only one remember I touted him in the draft because of his burst time, I don't think he has fully adjusted yet his ceiling on that we arent even close to seeing . once that and his repour with joe gets there Bang its 6 on a slow or medium speed corner. remember julio jones had a burst of 1.58, torreys was 1.48

Don't know how much I trust him as a no. 2 going into the playoffs but he had some clutch catches over the last two weeks, I like the kid.

he is building confidence every week. next weekend will show where we´re going as a team i guess. if him an flacco can connect for a few times it will only help them building on their chemistry. he will be very important at the end of the year.
i am very optimistic for our second half of the year. our defense is playing lights out since day one. and our offense just has to be successful on a regular basis....

He's definitely progressing quickly and gaining confidence but I hear ya about the playoffs. Would really like to have that veteran presence in Evans back for the playoffs.

actualy I would hold off on that comment , remember he is a local kid and we seen what local kids can do this year , take st louis cards, thier local boy made some clutch hits and catches in the world series, when a player has his Home crowd in the sense they are Litteraly his Home Town backing them, there nothing like it , for some reason some players I think torrey might be one that knows , man this is my home town I am playing for living my dream now its time to step up. I see big things for this kid have since I seen him in workout vids ,

I'm by no means saying he sits the bench for the playoffs, only that I'd like that veteran presence in there for plays as well. Sometimes rookies need time to calm their nerves before they can perform in post season.

He also was the cause of an Int...and seems to fall on 80% of his deep routes...but he seems to be growing..

He probably dropped the ball because he was SHOCKED the ball was finally actually on target!

When he falls, it's normally because he's laying out for yet ANOTHER overthrown pass from Flacco.

^ Yeah, Joe needs to get his timing down better with Torrey. He's left 3 or 4 TDs on the field due to poorly thrown deep balls.

We can all only hope that they get their timing down before the playoffs. We can finally be the offensive team that can score quickly and mount comebacks in the second half of games.
