Help With Cleveland Road Trip On 12/4

8 posts in this topic

This is my first time traveling to another city to see the Ravens rock. Me, and three family members will be traveling to Cleveland for the 12/4 game. Can anyone tell me if there is a "typical" or standard spot that visitor fans get together to tailgate before the game? I would like to tailgate but would rather do it with Raven loving fans and not Browns fans. Anyone have any advice? Thanks.

Every road game I've been to is pretty much a "park and walk through enemy territory" situation. Usually I end up partying with the bus groups. NY Jets last year was a prime example. My wide and I were abused on our way to the bus lot but the party was great once we got there. Good luck.

I ran a bus trip to Cleveland a few years ago and witnessed a rental car with ravens fans in it getting bombed by full beer cans as they got trapped in the line to get into the parking lot. Did a lot of damage to the car so if your renting a car to drive to the game you may want to get the extra insurance.

Cleveland is one of the toughest road trips I would avoid the lot known as the Muni from what I've read it gets ugly.

definitely avoid the muni lot. Ravens fan born in Bmore now living in Cleveland and I've been to a few games here. Just be ready for a lot of abuse. They're pretty much in your face about it too. And those stories about full beer cans being thrown at cars are most certainly true. I've seen it plenty of times. Just be prepared!
