I'd want to do the Cam-chant , but I wouldn't do it for the same reason I wouldn't moon the refs - I wouldn't want to embarrass the Ravens or the city. It would require considerable self-restraint , though , which I lack when I'm all beered-up. Luckily , I'm not going to the game.

Let's assume that firing Cam this season is a no-go as long as we're still in the playoff hunt. How about this : We locate and hire , ASAP , a top-notch quarterback coach , who will , of course , be subordinate to the OC. Cam would be assured that this was in no way a reflection of any dissatisfaction with his performance , but merely an admission that our starting quarterback is still very much a work in progress , and our backup QB is completely raw and needs a fulltime tutor/mentor.

If this new hire also has the necessary qualities to be an excellent OC , well , that's just a coincidence. However , a few games down the road , by which time everyone in the Ravens front office will become ill whenever they see Cam , those qualities might come in handy. The further along we are in the season , the more familiar the new coach will be with our system and players , and moving him to OC would not be so disruptive , and would surely be an improvement over the status quo.

I would like to think that people dont believe that this is over one game. The D has carried our team for a very long time. Id say 2 games our offense was the main reason we won. Pittsburgh and St. Louis. St. Louis isnt even worth mentioning and the Steelers looked lost. Cam has been a problem way before last Monday. It was just the last push for alot of Ravens fans and im sure some players too.

Getting a petition and sending it in or whatever your going to do with it , is alot different than chanting at the game. The only thing you should be chanting is "Go Ravens" or Defense". The team is out there trying to play. They dont need any distractions from fans trying to get someone fired. It seems childish and immature to me. imo If i was sitting next to anyone chanting this at the game I would be more embarassed than I was Monday night.

28.5 ppg.
With a flawed inconsistent offense.
Nothing to get fired over mid season...
Half of those ppg are courtesy of the defense lol.

The def has always been able to score but under harbs, cam, and joe we have been over 20ppg every yr. Put up the most yards pg we ever have and yet we will have people calling for in season changes in coaching and qb.

Its laughable at best.

Yeah, but this offense has been completely deplorable in half its games, which is totally unacceptable.

lol.... its a good thing I'm not there, or there'd be a whole lot of chanting that stuff. Must've been told on the way in not to say anything or they'd get kicked out.

One guy tried to start it, "Cam must go!"

But everyone just glared at him, he only said it once.

no chanting on my section.

Lots of boos though.

One guy yelled
"Bring in Tyrod"
he got pretty embarrassed when a hundred or so people laughed at him :)

Yep, I pretty much lost my voice. But it wasn't from any booing or 'Fire Cam' chants.

There was little booing. Considering we were there for 3 hours or so and some fans booed for a few seconds, that was very little. It's not like the booing was constant or of long duration or even more than half the crowd.

If the booing is so minute then why was it the team felt they needed to reference it?
Because it still happened.

It depends where you are in the stadium as to what you hear--if someone is booing in your section or around you--you will hear it, if its on the other side of the stadium no. I heard more cursing then booing lol

Hmm... must've happened in a good size fashion for it to be mentioned by the team though. If it was a small minority, then why would that be mentioned over the equally sizeable minority of 'Bring Tyrod in' chants?? Either that... or wow! We must have the organization reading some of our threads which has happened in the recent past... imagine that! No way that could've happened. At least according to the self-proclaimed knowledgeables.

Read K-Dogs post, Berad. Thats exactly my point though. If only a select few fans can hear any chants whatsoever, then how would they know about the chants in the first place?? Answer: they come here and read what fans think

"One guy"?

I didn't hear any chants, only boos. I didn't see any Ravens answer/address questions about chants - only boos.

I am going to the Pitt game and I am going to chant "Close this thread, close this thread!" We'll see if it works.
