Nope.

Not that I don't want to see Cam go. But I think the best move will be at the end of the season. Chanting about it seems like poor taste. The FO sees the same things we do.

We do not need to go down the same route as the sour Iggles fans.

I know there are some weirdos running around, but if the whole of our fanbase does this I would be extremely ashamed.

As i stated in another thread...the Front Office already knows we want him gone and have known for a long time.

I want Cam gone as much as anyone but that would be going about it completely the wrong way. That would do nothing but bring the fanbase down.

Exactly. Any FO in football rarely seeks out the fans vote when it comes to coaching and player personnel. They might seek out the fans opinion when it comes to a new logo.

But the FO and owner knows the pulse of the fan. They are disappointed with what they see on the field just like us. But they aren't going to make brash decisions.

Chanting and booing seems to taint a fanbase. Its all in poor taste.

Well if they have known for a long time then it looks like we need to push the envelope. Because apparently internet forums are not working.
If I'm being honest, I have to say that your little crusade is going beyond ridiculous at this point. You know why internet forums aren't 'working'?! Because we don't work for the Ravens. We are just the fans. Passion is fine, wanting change is fine and having problems with the way Cam is doing things is fine too. Calling for the man's head DURING A FOOTBALL GAME?! That's very rude and accomplishes nothing but making our fans look like the spoiled brats some of us are acting like on here and other forums. No matter how loud we are, no matter what ridiculous lengths fans can think of to take, at the end of the day it's the teams' decision, not ours and they aren't going to do what WE want them to do, but what they think is best for the team. Sheesh. What if it actually did work but had the opposite effect? 'Man, we WERE gonna let Cam go but because the fans are being such jerks about it, we're gonna keep him on for another four years,'. Haha.

i will not be chanting UNTIL a change has been made and Cam is out. so until then, i will continue to vent when i deem it necessary about his piss-poor play calling. hopefully, the Ravens come out swinging, clicking and running on all cylinders offensively and that our defense plays a monsterous game for the win on Sunday.

I'm kinda glad you upgraded it to a crusade for me. So for that sir I thank you. Lets just sit around and wait and wait and wait. Maybe it will change. Maybe next year. Nothing gets done with people like you around. Fans are fans. I have an opinion and other people share my opinion but for you to think your paragraph is all knowing and will stop my not "crusade" . Im not calling for fans to rush the field and burn the place to the ground. The fans are spoiled brats? We pay for everything these people have as fans. We buy the jerseys. We go to the games. If we want to make something known as a unit then we can. If they listen they listen. Please prepare your soapbox because you might be standing on it for a while.

Venting about it is one thing, but chanting FIRE CAM at the stadium? Please, just dont. We get mad when Steelers fans are laughing and chanting at us when guys get hurt (AFC Championship 2008), and for our own fanbase to do that in our stadium is being at the level of those fans. Do we really want to be at that level? I would rather we be better than that.

u choose to do all those things. Just because u do go to games, buy jerseys, etc it does not give you any say in anything concerning the business of the baltimore ravens... We are just fans

And besides its tacky high schoolish and pointless

Then will the team be booed as a whole if the offense is as pathetic as they were in Jacksonville. If that game had been a home game they would have been booed off the field as a whole. They have been booed for a lot less.

Never said I can go in and sign a paper saying Cam is fired. I'm just one person. If you choose not to that's up to you. It's the reason why I made it a poll. So we can see who thinks its a good idea.

I'll wait until the result of the game against the Steelers on November 6th. If they win, they've bought themselves some more time. If they lose, particularly with another sabotage-job by the offense... then the wrath shall rain down from the stands at the next home game after that.

While I agree with most of the above, I don't agree with the middle. While at times fans reactions are fast and sometimes non forgiving, in this instance most fans have been saying this for 3 years now. IMO many thing's saved Cams bacon this year, Harbs vouching for him and the greatest was the lockout. I think the reason it has come to this extreme action is because many are worried that nothing is being done. It seems after every loss the speeches are the same old thing...How will we ever know how many Rings Ray and the rest of the players could've had, if something very soon is not addressed?

Heck a little heads up for the fans IMO would go a long way..Not the same song and Dance from Harbs! If the only thing the fans are asked about are logo's and crap like that, then crap I'll stop spending my money at the games and just wait for the next logo/merchandise question. I don't mean to sound rude but I for one have been waiting for Joe to lead this O, not just go along with it!! Cam's schemes I'm sorry do not match up to the way A Raven plays...4 years old this is not just this season!

If i went to the Game and other people were doing it, heck ya, id jump right in and chant it as loud as i could.
Probably would make some posters too, id try and make 20 or so and pass them around.

Screw Cam being Canned if he doesnt perform next season (NOW), Harbs needs to be in the Hot seat now. And if we continue the way we played Monday night, ill be voting for Harbs to get the Can instead. I said it before and ill keep saying it. Where was the Hurry up Offense and did Harb. even acknowledge it in the post game interview???

This website asks us questions all day long. But ive never seen a question about Cam. Flacco gets it. Cundiff gets it. Everyone is held accountable besides Cam. Please put a question up about our offensive play calling. Who are you protecting?

I would find such a chant classless and embarrassing.

Further more 100% completely pointless.

It will prove nothing.

It will accomplish nothing.

It will solve nothing.

I cant imagine the front office will be thinking to them selves "Oh they are chanting !!! We have to act now !!! "

There is no secret there is a majority of the fans displeased with Cam. There are classier and more productive ways to express that than chanting at a home game.

A house divided its self can not stand.

Sure, go ahead. And you can be responsible if he hurts himself because of it. I also think it's time to move on, but being a bad football coach should not turn into personal attacks. How would you feel if 60,000 were chanting for you to be fired? You all know Mike Flanagan. Hopefully, at least. Because he committed suicide partly because he felt blamed for the Orioles struggles. He saw a MESSAGE BOARD and all the terrible things people were saying about him. Whether you think/care or not, what you say affects them. So you go ahead and chant your personal attacks on a great person, albeit a sub par football coach. Then, you can take responsibility if something bad happens. This is no different than that stupid, ridiculous thread about a "Fire Cam" billboard last year. Grow up.

"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen." They told us this in airborne school. I think it applies here interpret it as you will.

This is like rich people trying to picket a monocle tax. We're 4-2 and on top of one of the best divisions in football right now. But it's never enough for some people.

Yeah, we are. We need to lose next week AND have Pittsburgh win to move down. Even though they have played one extra game, we haven't lost that game yet.

Agreed. But like I said the FO and owner do not make brash decisions. They knew a lockout was looming and that there might not be time to install a new offensive system. They probably mulled over letting Cam go in depth. They have a pulse of the fans but they also seem to make patient decisions.
