The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Hey Ravens Fans! I stayed away from the boards for a bit after that sickening loss to the Jaguars because I knew that there would be threads like the "start Tyrod" Threads that would ultimately make me shake my head. So now that things have settled down a bit, I want to know, what do you think has been the Good, The bad, and The ugly of this 4-2 Ravens team up to this point?

The Good: 1. Our Defense- This has been without question the anchor and Identity of this team. This is a 6-0 caliber Defense and The best in the league. I love that young guys such as Cary Williams, Lardarius Webb, Pernell Mcphee, Terrence Cody, and Even Paul Kruger are stepping up and being solid pieces to this great defense. There is more depth on the defensive Side of the ball than we've had in a long time. Jimmy Smith Is also getting back into action. Should be very exciting from here on out.

2. Beating Pittsburgh, New York, And Houston: We dismantled 3 teams that are expected to be playing in the post season and made statements by smacking them in the mouth. Most of the Reason goes to our defense playing insanely dominant. It is Nice to know that we won some of the harder games on our Schedule.

The Bad: 1. Our inability to Win effectively on the Road: This concerns me For future games such as Pittsburgh, San Diego, Cincy, and Cleveland. Our only road win of the season has come against a absolutely horrendous Rams team. We've Lost on the road to two sub par teams that shocked the league and upset us in a bad way. It is a must that we return to being a good road team like we have in the past and especially important to win in Pittsburgh in 2 weeks.

2. The inconsistency of our offensive line: Week one against Pittsburgh, our offensive line looked like a force. Bryant McKinney was playing his best football against elite level linebackers such as Woodley and Harrison. After that game, our offensive line as a whole has been very inconsistent. Part of the fact has to do with Grubbs being out with his toe injury. They need to get back on track keeping the pressure off of Joe if they want to continue to win games.

The UGLY: 1. The Horrible Offensive performance against Jacksonville: This was by far the worst offensive team performance that I have ever seen with Joe Flacco and Ray Rice leading the offense. Not getting a first down proves how bad of a showing it really was. Joe was off, Rice was not involved, and it showed vulnerably. I hope this is the worst outing that this offense ever has this season. With the weapons that we possess, that type of play is inexcusable.

2. The Vanilla, Questionable, Frustrating Offensive Game planning: After years of wanting change at the offensive coordinator position, Cam Cameron still remains at the helm, and still remains a mediocre play caller. This offense has turned in to a black whole in terms of not letting talent reach their full potential. I'm even more frustrated now that A guy like Jim Zorn gets axed after one season and Cameron still seems to be on Harbaughs Praise list. Change has to come eventually and will not be able to be avoided any more. Stats Prove that Brees Wasn't Brees and Rivers Wasn't Rivers until Cameron was out of their Football lives and was unable to hold them back.

3. Flacco's Inconsistency, Completion percentage: His troubling completion percentage has been a concern as well as his inconsistency and struggles thus far this season. However, I am still a believer that Joe will turn up his game as the season progresses and I'm hoping that The growing pains of this new offense go away during the second half. I think they will begin to gel ONLY IF the play calling improves as well as the offensive line.
