Qb Coach?

40 posts in this topic

We keep saying that Joe is ONLY in his fourth year and we shouldn't expect instant success immediately. With that same rationale, shouldn't it be almost a given that Flacco should still have a dedicated QB coach to help with his growth and development? From what I recall, Flacco had a very good relationship with Zorn and he was pretty upset about his release. Was Zorn really that bad for Flacco or just a scapegoat for Cam?

From what I have read and heard...

Joe Flacco doesn't have a great relationship with Cam Cameron and Jim Zorn was a buffer between the two of them. That was one reason why Flacco was so upset with the firing of Jim Zorn. I'm sure ownership as well as Cam wanted Zorn and anyone else gone so the full load was on Cam. I believe that is what the "Cam under fire" quote is all about. It's him and nobody else...no scapegoats.

Either he improves the passing offense and offense overall or he is gone. Even if we have another winning season.

I believe that we got rid of Zorn in order to isolate Cam Cameron as the only OC and the only QB coach that has an influence. They wanted to isolate Cam and make sure that he was the problem.

Billick is not going to give up his cushy TV gig to come back in a subordinate position to the team that fired him.

I like your quote, man.

I really want to find out if Joe was indeed calling the shots during our no huddle/hurry up. Someone said Cam didn't even have the headset on at one point. I NEED EVIDENCE!
