Acting as QB coach ?

Doesn't every team have a separate QB coach?

Jim Zorn was the Scapgoat , we should have just Fired Cam and bump Zorn up to the O.C. I know Flacco actually respected and liked him.

I dont care what anyone says, we all know Flacco does not like Cameron. So why keep him around. Flacco needs to grow some and say screw it, rip that ear piece out of his helmet and run his own plays. Just think if that happened and Flacco actually performed better, Everyone including Harb. would know what the Real Problem is.

I don't know much about Zorn's OC creds but ya, Flacco was pretty pissed when they fired him. We need an offensive minded version of Pagano.

I like Zorn better, but the chance of McDaniels coming here is slim cuz I think he doesn't like Baltimore......The dude looks cocky to me.....

True. Tbh i think Cam has 1 more bad game like that. If we completly tank any more games offensively or get blown out by the Steelers it's over for him

Where did Jim Zorn go again? Maybe if we fire Cam we can try to right the wrong and see if he wants to come back as Offensive Coordinator and fix this whole mess.

I think Brian Schottenheimer, the Jets OC, was on the hot seat last year when they couldn't score against the Pats and the Bills last year, but they still keep him for 6yr already.

I hope we don't follow the Jets' tradition.....

So this is a legit question: where have you guys read or heard or whatever that Flacco hates Cam and loved Zorn? I'm honestly curious..I haven't seen anything personally to corroborate that.

Well if your referring to his time at the Redskins, he was supposed to be the O.C but then was bumped up to the H.C and it was all down hill from there, before than he Was one of the Best from what i remember hearing back in the day.

All i know is, this Team needs a change in Coach for the Offense and it was obvious last season. All harb. did was extend the inevitable, I remember the Dolphins had no problem getting rid of Cam after 1 yr. So whats Harb. do, he hires a coach thats team should have been 0 and 16 but was 1 and 15 because they beat us, now thats embarressing.

When Zorn was fired Joe said he was upset about that. He said he like Zorn, and that Zorn made him a better quarterback. My understanding was that Zorn was let go because he and Cam differed on offensive philosophies, Cam being Air Coryell and Zorn being West Coast. Interesting to note that Flacco's best year was last year, when he had Zorn.

Ah, okay. Thank you! I can't deny that last year Joe showed REAL progress that he's seemed to kind of back off from this year. Whether that is due to Jim leaving or not, I'm not qualified enough to say.

I went to every teams' official pages and checked, I was also curious. The Patriots' OC also acts as the QB coach and, interestingly, the Raiders and Rams don't have a QB coach listed on their pages. Other than that every other team has a separate QB coach.

Cam needs to be fired, and we need to find an Offensive Coordinator who has actually had even a small bit of success in the NFL. Cam leaves a place and the Qb gets better (Rivers/Brees).... thats kind of sad for a guy who wants to call himself an offensive genius.

Under Jim Zorn,Flacco had a QB rating of 93.6 and only 10 picks.Why did we fire Zorn anyhow?I think hes at KC.WE need a QB coach.

When they fired Zorn I said, "What the heck? Why didn't they fire Cameron and promote Zorn?"

It boggled me then, and it boggles me now.

I believe Zorn and Cam didn't see eye to eye. So cam met up with Harbs and had him fired because he wouldn't conform to his ways. Now Flacco who liked Zorn seen this and now feels he could be next if he doesn't listen. You can't expect a leader when the dictator is on the sidelines.
