Not really surprising. The fact that he wasn't IR'd weeks ago means they have faith he'll return this season, and he will. Cincy is the goal for when I'd like to see him in, but if we have to wait for the playoffs, so be it. It'll make it harder for our opponents to prepare for him.

He's been out several weeks with a lingering hamstring issue. Doesn't seem like you missed him too much as you're only realizing he's gone now.

Last time he suited up was week 6 I believe.

I don't remember how he got injured, just remembered he did get injured (against the Texans?) and would be out for several weeks. One of the reasons why we brought back Burgess.

I hate it that Evans is out but I'm thinking his impact he could have on the offense when he returns could be similar to how Bob Sanders impacted the Colts Defense during their Super Bowl run in 2006. Sanders missed most of the season, and he came back for the playoffs and made a big impact so hopefully Lee Evans can come back with his full speed and impact the offense.

At this point, I'm just hoping to have Lee Evans back toward the end of the season and for the playoffs.

No point in bringing Evans back against the Seahawks. I hope we gets some limited reps in practice this week, but I doubt we see him in the game for another week or two.
