Merged: Grubbs Practices, Evans Doesn't This Week

I seriously doubt that either guy comes back this week. I'm wondering if they'll ever come back. Everything is so hush hush. Very disappointing.
But don't you think everything might be hush hush because they don't want our opponents preparing for the return of Grubbs or Evans? I'm attempting to be optimistic and thinking that we're trying to throw off the Steelers or whoever. I know this week is probably the week that the Ravens want them both back out there, and the date we've had circled on the calendar. I think it's very possible we've made a decision that we didn't need them vs. Jax or Arizona and would keep things quiet, and bring them back to take on the Steelers. If we knew Grubbs was out all season, I think we would've made some personnel moves. Evans not as much, but still, I think we'll have them ready. If not this Sunday, then perhaps by the time the playoffs come.

Just like someone mentioned already, I wonder if Evans coming back would disrupt any 'sort of' chemistry already there. I don't like saying that because we NEED another Veteran WR out there. This team is good but the jekyll/hyde thing worries me. And this game worries me.

I think it must have been one heck of an ankle sprain or it's MORE than that. Hope Ben is better soon.
This team could use some "disrupting" of its current chemistry on offense.

trade deal man remember he wasnt a FA he was a trade  heard it on nfl network
Yeah, I know it was a trade.  It was Evans for a 4th.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Not sure what you were "enjoying" when you heard that is was some sort of conditional pick that could award us a 1st and 2nd.  Thats just funny!!

this was reported a week ago when they were talking about how long it was taking evans to come back , they said a stipulation made in the trade could turn the 4th into a 2nd or 1st , the stipulation being he had to have 30 catches and atleast 600 yards, note when they report trades they never report all stipulations on them it was news to me when I heard it ps I meant or sorry for not wording right

God I miss Ben Grubbs.
We should start exploring alternatives. Like putting Grubbs brain in Gurode. If it is successful we just found a way to keep Ray Lewis playing forever. McClain would be the logical host.

If only we could fuse Michael Oher and Mckinnie, to form Jonathan Ogden. Ed reed into Mana Silva.

And this is why the scientist always becomes the most hated man in the Frankenstein monster movies. Good intentions gone horribly wrong! lol

Been watching too many horror movies during the month of December. Maybe the human centipede approach would also be an alternative.

105.7 The Fan is talking to the Pittsburgh counterpart who is saying that he thinks Harrison will play. He stated that if he's cleared for practice he doesn't believe that he won't be in the game Sunday.

Thats what I am saying. I will not believe ANY reports on ANY injuries for ANY Steelers players until I get the game day texts from ESPN and the few others I get.

Exactly. And what player in their right mind would miss Steelers-Ravens? Thats the biggest game of the year for both teams. Gotta be crazy (or really hurt) to miss it.

We'll need him back at least 3 weeks before the playoffs.

Evans coming in the playoffs could actually disrupt our offense. Too little chemistry between him and Flacco.
true,im just saying that,he'll play threw the pain if he still has it by time playoffs come around

Why? His thing is speed. He's not fast if he's in pain.

Oh snap, I'll be glad if Harrison plays. Have Leach put a hat on him every play and he won't be playing long.
That would be nice...... but knowing Cam he'll try to make Leach a Running back and not use him for what we brought him in for, to be a BLOCKING FB.

Lee Evans, is iffy, I'd rather have him back when he is healthy since speed is his specialty. Grubbs on the other hand, we need him back for sure, regardless who plays on the defense on Sunday. I hope Grubbs can return and when he returns our offensive line goes back to being awesome and Joe has all day to throw in the no huddle offense or shot gun lol.

I think putting Gurode's toe on Grubbs would be easier. :)

That does seem like an easier solution. Plus Grubbs is younger. Don't know what I was smoking.

Today's injury report will be intriguing to say the least.
Yep, but they can still hide stuff from the press since they can only view the early portion of practice.

Gotta agree. If you play two games all year, make it these two.
