It may not sound right, but I feel like he is focusing too much on technique, rather than just being a mean, shove it down your throat RT. Play angry during the play Oher and you will return to form beofre ya know it.

We just did that. Matsko, who before last season was considered widely to be one of the best o-line coaches in the league, was a scapegoat just like Zorn was last year and we decided to promote his assistant who was in the process of dealing with a DUI. I live in east Tennessee so I get to see a lot of Panthers games (Matsko's new coaching gig) and for the large part, that line is doing a good job of helping out a rookie QB.

I'm actually beginning to wonder the same thing. I believe that next year is his contract year, if he doesn't take a big step up, he might be gone.

I don't know about that. The line has had good moments. They're inconsistent. You can't blame inconsistency on the coach. They've shown what they can do, and this line is borderline elite when playing to their potential. I don't think the coach is the issue.

I don't think that's it. Getting beat around the edge is a technique problem, not a lack of anger problem. And if you've ever played offensive line, you need to focus on technique just as much as anger, if not more.
