We could have given up after that collapse but we came back and took the game to OT.

We screwed ourselves with penalties.

I suppose, but there is no such thing as a "good loss" especially a game that we should have dominated throughout... By the way, did you all see Willis' eye... yikes. It's no wonder he couldn't see.

I'm sure Harbaugh wasn't pleased with the penalties. Plus the defense had a lapse similar to the New England game last year (why did JJ do that?!) It's amazing how 15 seconds can change the course of a game...

Taking the game to OT was a positive. Flacco engineered 2 nice scoring drives this game. Still a work in progress, but it's nice to see him getting better.

Not alot of people gave us a chance to win this game but we stuck at it. There is no such thing as a good loss but this team did something tonight that I never saw from Brian Billick lead teams. They made the plays when it mattered on the road. Usually when this team loses the momentum they give up but this team battled back but they just couldnt get it done. I am impressed by what Harbaugh has done for this team. I think as Flacco matures, games like this may began going our way.

I am however not happy about all the stupid penalties. ( Jarret Johnson and Antwaan Barnes- I am looking at you. )

Once again we give away a game on national television. Those penalties could have costed the game in overtime, but we will never know if we could have won at the 45 yd line before the penalties. That fumble from Flacco definitely cost us the game, though.

Dude you need to look at the tape ward needed to have a pentalty for the shot to the head of jarred he was defending himself

Defending himself or not, it was a bone-headed move because he could've gotten him back on the field -- during a LEGAL play, between the whistles, when it COUNTS.

Give the Steelers some credit though. They get paid to play the game to. I am angry at Jarrett Johnson for being the catalyst that bought the crowd back into this game, though. But thats really all we can say.

It doesnt matter. The wistle was blown, so you dont take a revenge shot. That got the crowd back into the game and the Steelers began feeding off it. He should have been a bigger man and walked away but he didnt.
offensive line and special teams litterally gave it up for us. <_<
Kick returning wasnt so hot. Sam Koch had a great day though, he punted from his own end zone several times and still got the ball across the 50 yard line. So dont go calling out the entire special teams. As for the offensive line, they had some break downs but not every sack was their fault. Flacco has to learn when to just let it fly and live to play another down. He held the ball way to long on both the plays he fumbled on.

I agree a year from now, with a much more experienced flacco, the ravens win this game. One of the fumbles by joe did hurt then tho i dont think it cost them the game. I think Brady would have fumbled that ball. I was impressed by his poise and his ability to jump right back in it with that nice scoring drive. I think the ravens win this game in baltimore in a couple of months

It's hard to say, but I think the loss of Rolle and Landry really hurt us. Especially that TD pass from Roethlisberger, just too many missed tackles...

On the other hand, our D played really well despite missing them.

I didn't mean the whole special teams, just the point that we got sent down from our 40 to the 15 during over time. and the countless number of yellow flags they piled up for us.

Yeah, I'm sure Harbaugh wasn't pleased at all with that since it is special teams!

If it wasn't for Flacco's arm, a lot of those passes could have been picked off. I remember one pass he made to Mason. There were five defenders surrounding Mason! He's getting lucky so far, but I'm still nervous when I see a jump ball...

Come on - he was not great - but to say he cost us - WOW  . Try the O-line. Try McAlister not knowing how to tackle when guys run for a touchdown. Try special team & Figures bad judgement & running. Place blame there.

The oline did a bad job at pass blocking this game, We allowed six sacks(I think) And flacco had to move around alot. Now we have a short week and we play the titans, So we might end up 2-2.

Jarret johnson killed us

Your saying Jarrett Johnson 15 yard penalty didnt cost us? The penalty on Barnes that wipped out Figurs best return of the night didnt cost us? I have to disagree.

Honestly look at it this way, before the eagles game all the critics we're saying the steelers were the best team in the afc, and one of the best in Football. So the ravens going in there and giving them the fight they did, says wonders about them. I always say when a game is that close and is OT its anyones game it can go either way. Flacco made some mistakes but he also show moments of excellence. That last TD drive he put together against that defense was impressive. I still say you win this game in baltimore in december.

Johnson has blame as does Barnes. But except for Figures 1 run you are talking about he was bad tonight. REally special teams was BAD.

I think that we could have smashed the Steelers into submission just like our other two games with Cleveland and Cincy. The score in the end could have been 13-3 had it not been for us shooting ourselves in the foot. Just need to get better and more disciplined.

we look like we can do something that was our test and they held up pretty good to be young on the plus side Mcgahee wasnt in top form nor Reed and it showed with the missed takles we messed our selves up with the missed sack we would have had a ton of sack but we know what we need to do now flacco was great minus the fumble and yall have to remeber that they didnt count our Td With mason that they said wasnt good but it was. but that hit on holmes by Barnes was a whoa.
yall cant blame jj, hines ward he gets on my nerves and they let him get away with stuff. barnes did srew us in OT but take away our mental mistakes we pounded the steelers Rashad menttorundownthehall i told yall he seales his fate hes gone for the year and another one of the linemen. if wee didnt injure all the players that last Rb woulnt hake that play. then bart calls a TO on a would be Ed Reed pick but heay we look damn good its not the playoffs we are in good shape flacco can play our line has something to build off but we do need another godd hands wideout bad.

I agree. All those deep plays when a guy was in one on one coveage. Not all of the throws were pretty but a polished wr would have pulled those in. I think we really need to think about pulling the trigger on a trade for Roy Williams. Screw the money, winning is more important.

Is Todd Heap & Mark Clayton still on our team??

I see some trade bate next year if they don't step up. 2 first round picks & no place 2 be scene. & Dont tell me Heap was pass blocking - because he didnt do 2 good at that either. <_<
