All Our Offense Has Is Hail Marry's

6 posts in this topic

I used to think our offense was only playing this way because Torrey Smith was new to the office. But weeks later i'm realizing that our offense never has much of a game plan. Every defense that stops us from completing those 50 yard bombs down the field, has shut us down. If Torrey wouldn't have torched the Rams 3 straight times, we may have had the struggles we've seen in nearly every other game.

I'm not trying to bash anyone, I love the Ravens to the core, but it's very obvious to me, our offense is constantly unprepared :-(

From the outside looking in... Ive notice that also.. I post it in the game day thread... The Jags are stopping the run and limiting the cheap deep ball play.

They wanted to force flacco to pick them apart.

I dont know is it the playcalling (alot of raven fans tell me its that) ... But i cant lie.. I saw a couple of throws Flacco just missed on with accuracy... Boldin up the middle was and open ball but he just missed that throw.... I did see some bad play calling also tho

Yea, Flacco was off on about 4-5 of those throws, and we couldn't run the ball to save our lives. Our blockers really struggled getting a hand on their linebackers at all...

As the weeks pass by, more and more Im starting to believe that there really is no gameplan for the offense. Especially when the struggle and come back after the half making the same plays, same throws, same runs. The playbook on Madden offers you a plethora of offensive weapons no matter the scheme you are running. Maybe we should just print off the madden playbooks and choose a few from there. Call me crazy but it sounds like a viable option.

that is because for the most part (with the exception of the Rams game) teams know that he can't!!

so, they will take away everything else to force the Ravens to have to rely on Flacco and that doesn't turn out well.
