When Did We Become Such A Bad Road Team?

19 posts in this topic

This team needs to be able to run the ball effectively on the road. Brady and Rodgers can get by without effective run games. The Ravens cannot. imho.

Yeah we definitely need to run the ball better, I was confused why Ray RIce wasn't going to the outside, the few times I saw him do it he managed to get more yards then trying to go right up the middle.

Most of the teams losses has came on the road through out the seasons as far as I recall. They seem to dominate at home.

Which means we definitely need to get one of the top Seeds. We need to win this division and get a home game in the playoffs, only way we will have a shot at the Super Bowl.

After last night's game though -- one has to wonder if this team is capable of putting together a season where they can get home-field in the playoffs? Last night was so bad IMO, that I am wondering if they will even make the playoffs.

It certainly has left a sour taste in my mouth. That's for sure.

Ravens offense has always been terrible during prime time games. They can't handle the pressure.

Does anyone have any answers?

Don't we have the most road wins of anyone in the last 4 years or something?

Win the first seed, we wont have to have this problem in the playoffs.

That's not going to happen if they keep losing to teams like Tenn and Jax.

Losing to teams like these doesn't get it done and 11 wins will not secure the division title and they have barely scratched the surface on division play. I know the Wild Card route gets you in but that road is well traveled.

From what I can tell, the only teams the ravens actually like to win are the great ones (Steelers, Jets, Texans). I honestly think it's a lack of motivation and underestimating these teams with not too decent records. Hopefully the playoffs will be more than enough motivation to play theirs butts off.

Well I hate to sound like a broken record, but when your QB is completing less than half of his passes, it becomes nearly impossible to win on the road.

Not blaming it all on Flacco. Everyone deserves their fair share. Just giving one of the major reasons.

I was saying that to my wife last night.

For the past few years we have had a FANTASTIC road record.

Now all of a sudden. But then she reminded me of our night game record...
