Confused. Need Advice.

I'm starting to over-think this trade proposal and it's getting me confused. Need your help, BR.com! First, here's my league/team info:

14 team league; need to start QB/RB1/RB2/WR1/WR2/TE/WRT(flex)/K/DEF

QB - [b]Rodgers[/b], Tebow
RB - [b]Demarco Murray[/b], [b]Knowshon Moreno[/b], Tim Hightower (ACL?), Felix Jones (Ankle), Ernest Graham (ACL?)
WR - [b]Jordy Nelson[/b], [b]Santonio Holmes[/b], Victor Cruz, Torrey Smith
TE - [b]Witten[/b], [b]Gates[/b]
K - [b]John Kasay[/b]
DEF - [b]Chicago[/b]

[b]Bold[/b] = Starters

I'm in a bit of trouble, but I've still been winning. Here's what's been offered:

OUT - Antonio Gates
IN - Ryan Torain, AJ Green, Dallas Clark

I don't trust any of these guys, but do I take this trade anyways? Need an RB2 and Hightower is gone for the season. I was gonna put Tebow on the trading block as well (after GB bye), because there are some people out there without a good QB.

Edit: It should be noted that I was planning on having a 2 TE starting roster.

May I suggest checking the Wire for Jackie Battle? He's probably available and has been doing great. Antonio Gates is going to be a major fantasy player, so I wouldn't advise trading him.

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure. Thanks. Also, the waiver wire and FA pool is bone dry.

I would do that trade. You only need one TE on your roster. Witten already had his bye. Plus who knows how long Gates goes for. He could be in and out.

People close to the Redskins say Hightower is probably out for they year despite positive news yesterday. Dallas Clark does nothing for the trade. I would look to cut him for a future waiver pick up. You can cut Graham and if Hightower is out, he's gone as well.

Then I would look to trade Tebow as well. Rogers is all the QB you need. Stack up on RBs so you have at least a drove to choose from each week.

Definitely gonna cut Hightower and Graham.

I don't have to start 2 TEs, but I can start Gates as a flex which could be pretty potent in its own right. But what I'm trying to figure out is would he be more valuable than dealing with the Shanahanagans in DC and a rookie WR who will eventually be up against the top 3 defenses in the league (AFC North)?

That's true. You can use the dual TE threat approach. But the bottom line is, you need RB help. You just can't hope that Murray becomes a feature back when Felix comes back.

I own Hightower and Torain in one league. And with Hightower down, Shanny doesn't have an option but to use Torain as the workhorse on running downs. Helu is still transitioning.

You forgot Rodgers isn't playing this week since it's bye. He'll need to hold onto Tebow until Week 9. It's good to have a back-up QB, anyway.

Don't start Torain unless you need to: he's not very reliable. You could do much better.
