I wouldnt mind losing to any other teams, but getting to finally watch baseball in september and watching this postseason series and the Yankees in particular reminded me of the other reason i stopped watching much baseball at all (aside from 15 years of orioles irrelevancy). Which is that baseball is a broken sport. The yankees/yankee organization epitomize what is wrong with baseball, and they are so unwatchably hateable. Every time they win a game the integrity of baseball dies a little more. They are the rich kids who were groomed for success and when they win it's totally boring and uninteresting.

And what a bunch of drama queens. They act like every play, every hit is a game-winner for the World Series. But tonight we're not doing ourselves any favors with some of that sloppy base running.
