Koji Uehara struggled following a midseason trade to the Rangers and was left off the World Series roster, and now Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports that the reliever wants to return to the Orioles next year.

I'd take him back and ship Gregg out without a second thought.

Man I would Iove this. Trade some of our washed up minor league busts for him. Finally Joe Jordan and McPhail are gone for good.

How about we don't! Give Kevin Gregg until May 15, 2012. If he sucks, get rid of him. We need to fish or cut bait with BRob and a few others.

No, I think we've seen enough of Gregg.

Anybody think we are going to get any big name free agents?
I highly doubt it. I'd be hoping the young guys make bigger strides than they did this past season.

I would like to see the O's sign Fielder and CJ Wilson. I know Wilson had a bad postseason but hes still better than what we had this season. I'm not optimistic about signing either though.

I am hearing that payroll is around 53 million...you would think they could throw some money out there to some big names and put some butts back in those green seats.

Why don't we have a new GM yet?!?! Free agency starts on Thursday!! Give me a break, Orioles!
It's the Orioles. C'mon...Did you really expect a logical approach to hiring a GM from Angelos? We'll probably wait until next season before we start looking at this season's free agents.

All kidding aside...I'm a diehard O's fan but you gotta rip them because they deserve it at times.

I have taken myself to the mentality of a Cubs fan...."Wait til next year" Only difference being that there is no curse of the goat but only a dope for an owner.

And now Tony LaCava turned the O's down to be the GM of our team. Pretty bad when a man turns down a promotion to keep his assistant job with the Blue Jays. I mean there are only 30 of these jobs in the world and he turned us down. Hopefully it's a blessing in disguise.

I'm glad Weiters and Nick got some respect! Hardy was snubbed, though it's hard to give 3 gold gloves to a team with such a horrible record.... I suppose.

Hasn't he been out of baseball for 10 years or something like that? I'm none too pleased, but this was expected. He's got a lot of work to do.
