Flacco's won a play-off game every year in his career. The Raiders have been a laughingstock for almost a decade. Palmer was a top 5 QB for one season, then Von Oelhoffen mangled his knee. He was a scrub before that season and has been one ever since. Boller's a scrub too.

Palmer falls apart around Thanksgiving or when it gets cold and the knee and elbow start acting up. I've been saying he needed to go to a dome team. Flacco is fine.

No, everyone could see that Boller wasn't very good. He never showed the kinds of flashes that Flacco has shown, and he was never as accurate as Flacco. All he had was a big arm. Boller's numbers don't compare to Flacco's numbers, have you even looked? Anyway, we have seen Flacco improve every season. The difference this year is that he is getting used to younger, faster receivers who he hasn't played much with. I just think it's funny when people want to write off a QB after 3 seasons, that's not how the NFL works anymore. Defenses are so complex that it takes longer to get the experience necessary to read them quickly. Flacco was not pro-ready coming out of college, meaning he had even less experience reading defenses than most rookie QBs. That's why people expected him to take 2-3 years to be ready at all. He ended up in the AFC North with the Steelers, probably the best team in football over his time in the NFL, and he wasn't quite ready to lead us past them. Nothing wrong with that, no one expected it until we went to the AFC Championship his rookie season. Like I said, he'll continue to improve. And soon, people will be saying that he's only so good because of the great defense and team that he's on.
