You guys are hilarious. Does everyone have the Flacco bobblehead on their dashboards? Lest ye forget the Jets/Titans performances. We have an inconsistent QB. You just never can be sure from one week to the next what we will get. The list of guffaws by Flacco goes on and on but take this into consideration-last week Kyle Boller 79.5 had a higher passer rating than Joe Flacco 78.5 and that is eerie. With Boller starting in Oakland lets hope we don't end up with the trick part of Halloween down in Jacksonville!

I have tried to get over it but when I realize that our defense is the real reason we are 4 and 1 and not the good CONSISTENT play of an average Joe it makes me nervous when we go into a place like Jacksonville and I should not be nervous playing the Jags right now.![img]http://content.boards.baltimoreravens.com//public/style_emoticons/default/bitenails.gif[/img]

Does anyone really care what the doughboy Sapp says about Flacco or anybody else for that matter. It's easy to see why Sapp was a controversial player with his mouth. As I recall he was a cheap shot artist just like Hines Ward - does he really get paid for that?

Thanks for that Mod 2 and just like Sapp my opinion " don't mean jack" but I hate this nervous feeling-I should be rolling in confidence right now, but which Joe do we get this week? I can't believe the Bengals and Steelers got higher rated defenses that we do-Grrrrrrrrr

Bengals/Steelers have higher ranked defenses for yds allowed but we are #1 in what matters.....points allowed.

I am nervous every single game. I think it was all those nail biters (and losses by 3 pts) last season that did it.

As for Joe, he put up what was it? 280 some odd yds on the Texans? A pretty decent D last week. His timing with Torrey and Q is improving and it was evident in that game. Just another tidbit for you. Joe is #5 out of all active QBs for winning percentage. Seems pretty above average to me.

Whatever dude...yeah, Joes inconsistent. We all know that. But guess what? Its his fourth year AND NO QB has been consistent this early on. In fact, Flacco has accomplished or been a part of things that no other QB has!!

To you, perhaps....But from a young QB, I am thrilled at his progression over 3+ years. The transition to the NFL for a QB takes time, of which most take 4-6 years. I see Joe as being ahead of the curve, but you see it [s]wrong[/s] differently.

He's played really well against the Steelers and Rams, above average (considering the defense and the pressure) against the Texans and poorly against the Titans and Jets. BUT he played amazingly from week 2 to the end of 2010 and played better in last years playoffs, not great but better! I really dont know why I waste my time responding, since you're so set in your ways, but I just bite down every time due to the need for others to be better informed
