Should be interesting, I thought the Rangers would have had this in 6 games, so Game 7 should be a good game.

Yup, baring some sort of offensive explosion (aka miracle) from the Rangers in their last 6 outs, i think the Cards have this wrapped up.

Well deserved. I kind of feel for the Rangers as arguably their strongest weapon coming in the WS was their revamped bullpen and it was them who blew it in the end.

And I called Freese for the MVP trophy if the Cards were to win the WS :D

I wonder what Pujols will do now...

I can't see the Cardinals letting him go. He'll be paid handsomely and be beloved for the rest of his career. Why would you leave such a great team and baseball town?

Tony La Russa calls it quits...nice way to go out..on top. I am guessing STL has seen the last of Albert.

Even if St. Louis doesn't offer the most money, Albert would be smart to just stay in St. Louis because they are contenders year in, year out and considering he'll get big time offer from a team trying to get into the playoffs, and considering no other city would support him the way St. Louis has it would be a mistake for him to go, and certainly a mistake for the Cardinals to not re-sign him. Pujols to me is almost like their Cal Ripken, if Ripken would have played anywhere but Baltimore, he wouldn't have been appreciated the way Baltimore appreciated Cal, and I see the same thing with Pujols if he played anywhere but St. Louis.
