My gut says the Steelers lose to the Pats next Sunday, come into the Ravens-Steelers game drained, and get beat, perhaps badly, by us.

You might be right a Patriots win may just hand us the division but I don't think we will beat the Steelers badly on their turf but then again we will go into that game probably at 7 and 1 and have some swagger!

Combine our swagger coming off a dominant win over the Jags and what should be a solid win over the Cardinals, with the crushed spirits of the Steelers coming off a loss to the Pats, and we should be set up for a nice win, be it a close win or a thumping.

If we take care of business against the Cards and Jags, yes. But I'll wait to see if the offense comes together.

I personally need a bigger sample size against some better opponents before making any bold claims like this. Only "good" teams we have beat are Jets (overrated), Texans and Steelers. Offense is still inconsistent; a good showing against Jac would make me change my mind on that. Let's get quality, dominating wins against Jac and Ari and then we can discuss that, but I mean we should be blowing these teams away, it shouldn't be close. A win against Pit after that would shut up all doubters

Im a Jets fan and yeah I agree the Ravens right now are the team to beat in the AFC. But championships arent won in october, they are won in January. And to the people saying the Jets are overrated, I think thats ridicolous, weve come off 2 AFC Championships. Weve done more in the last 2 years than the Ravens have done in the last 10 years. Don't count us out just yet. And sure youve beaten us twice now lately, but why didnt we get our rematch against the Ravens the last two years in the championship game? the Ravens were no where to be found when it mattered.

The Patriots are vulnerable, and if the Ravens and Patriots played today the Ravens would come out on top. But were not even halfway through the season, if the Ravens win their division and get a bye thinks will be alot easier, especially after all those road playoff games.

We will see how this plays out, but as of now I see the playoffs looking like:

1.Patriots
2.Ravens
3.Texans
4.AFC West eam
5.Steelers
6.Jets

And this will be followed up with the same divisional playoff games from last year. Time will tell I guess.

The Jets lost to the same teams we lost to in the 2009 + 2010 playoffs. But, whatever makes you feel better.

The Ravens are the best team in the AFC right now, they are playing the best football. You still got to beat the Steelers again, you beat them, then you all should be expecting nothing less than a Super Bowl. Unlike last year the Ravens seem a lot more prepared and a lot more determined to win the Super Bowl. Youve blown out the Jets and Steelers, the 2 top teams from last year.

Ill say this if the Ravens get the bye, I think you will be playing in the championship game, just because I dont think you would go one and done unlike those softies from New England.

No. No. No. I wouldn't put them in the top 10 right now. They can't beat lesser quality opponents, then why do they deserve to be mentioned as one of the best?

Yeah after todays game, I regret ever saying the Ravens are the best team. Their are losses, and then theirs BAD losses. This was a really bad loss. Flacco has regressed completely.

I wouldnt be that worried, because I saw my Jets have a similar loss to the Dolphins last year, but if the Ravens play like this again id be worried as hell.

HA! Not after this performance. This team has to learn to play with the same intensity EVERY GAME! Not just against the big opponents. I mean, say we do make the playoffs, have a big win against the Steelers or Chargers or Patriots, we would almost CERTAINLY have a letdown the next week the way we are playing. Is Ray Lewis the only one getting intense?! Sure seems like it.

Then again, this is one game. We messed up, sure. But by golly (and I neverrr say by golly) we better LEARN from the mistakes we made in this game and get ourselves in gear. Smash on the Cardinals at home, treat it as if it's the Steelers game.
