Submitting A Story For Copyright

I have been working on some story ideas from time to time, particularly as short stories, with the hope that I will be able to have them published or made into a screenplay in the future. I usually write using pen and paper, as i don't have an office, home and school application on my home computer, and am trying to save money for a laptop with said application.

Having said that, should I want to submit a completed story for publication, using Form TX from the Library of Congress Copyright Office, could I be able to submit it on a memory stick, or would I have to submit in printed text form?

Any assistance will be appreciated in this matter, as I trust the judgement of me fellow posters in this matter.

The story which I have completed is about a young man in his early twenties, who wishes to be productive, but has trouble with his father, who won't allow him to go elsewhere and find work.
