Again your assuming Carson Palmer injured. Both of us are basing their arguements off of that. When healthy carson palmer a top five Qb. We will let this season play out and see just how healthy carson Palmer is. Carson Palmer health will determine who was right and wrong.

Learning this raiders offense is not that difficult for Palmer. Hue jackson was his Oc with Usc and the Bengals 0ffense is very similiar. Just the verabage is diffrent.
Lets examine this thread when the season over.

how healthy Carson is? bruh...the man just came out of retirement in week 6. i'd say he is healthy! still horrible...but healthy nonetheless. lol!

I don't need to do nothing of the sort. Who cares how many time the ravens have made the playoff or Raiders missed it. Raiders have one of the youngest teams on both sides of the ball now. Do you really think those players care . No what you did in the past isn't going to help you one bit against a team on the field . Its the 2011 ravens versus the 2011 raiders. Again pray you don'tsee this Raider team down the road.

I hope we do see the Raiders in the playoffs this year. I would be so happy. A run game which we can stall and a QB who can cough up the ball easily and a defense which sucks. Plus a team with no playoff experience. You better hope you do not see us in the playoffs. Because your just going to get embarrassed.

Look on the bright side Raiders fan! You can still play the 50% completion rate card now that Palmer topped the mark... Of course you'd have to count the three completions to the Chiefs' defensive backs but anything for you :)

Well obviously Palmer caught a cold or some other malady during the game so he wasnt healthy. This game doesnt count.

When healthy Carson Palmer has been a top five Qb easily. You assume hes not. Joe Flacco hasn't been injured just hasn't progressed enough that NFl people would even put him in the top 10 of Qbs.
By when healthy, are you referring to the 2005 season? Because Palmer hasn't been anywhere near the Top 5 stat wise over the last 3-4 years. Palmer was healthy in 2010, when he threw 26 TDs with 20 INTs. Yet he, "easily," edges out the output of either Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers, Michael Vick and Peyton Manning. Or a number of other QBs who outperformed him. Should we also look back at the 2009 season, wherein Brett Favre and Drew Brees were in contention as well? Let me know, as I'd be more than welcome to run the numbers by you. NFL people wouldn't throw Flacco in the Top 10? When he was just among the Top 10 QBs on the NFLs Top 100 of 2011 list, voted on by players who are coincidentally people in the NFL? Interesting. How did Carson fare against the injury riddled Chiefs, by the way?

Do you need a reality check? 9/10 times all the opposing defense know that stop your running game, you will fold like a paper. Mendenhall, Foster, C. Johnson can't even run against our defense, and what makes you think McFadden or Bush can run against us? You pray you won't play us first round playoff down the road or u'll get embarrassed.

May be we'll see you in 10yrs when your younger team have enough experience to make to playoffs.

Besides, playoffs? playoffs!?!?

Okay, you all saw me have it out with Raider9175 all week. Well.....

Palmer was 8 for 21 - 38% (fact)
No TD's (fact)
3 INT's (fact)
QB Rating of 17 (fact)
Had no zip on sideline routes (fact)
Looked clueless (opinion)

And, I know, the excuse is 10 months away from football. Well, its really just a few months away from football since NO ONE had an off season. He just cant play football. Hasnt been able to since 2006. Way to give up [s]two firsts[/s] I mean a first and a second (NO CHANCE YOU SEE THE PLAYOFFS)!!!

Raiders don't need anything at WR. They have the fastest Wr corp maybe ever assembled. These guys aren't track stars but genuine football players with blazing speed. DHB 6'2 215 sub 4.3 (probably Raiders sixth best wr. Denarius moore 6'195 now that he has a Qb watch his numbers go way up. Jacoby Ford 5'9 185(might be the fastest Nfl player) , Chaz Schilens 6'4 225 4.38 (probably Raiders best overrall Wr who is made out of glass. Louis Murphy 6'2 200 - only downside is he does drop the easy one. D Hagan 6'2 215 Closest thing Raiders have to a possessin reciever

Throw in probably the best trio of running backs (Mcfadden , M Bush and taiwan Jones) All can run and catch the football with the best of them.

A unique weapon in FB Marcel reece- 6'3 245 4.41 who really a Wr playing FB

A Bevy of TEs K Boss 6'6 255(one of the best all round Tes. David Ausberry 6'4 245 4.47 and R Gordon 6'4 265 4.61 T Pryor with Carson Palmer the Qb he will probably get more looks at Wr or TE. Thats another 6'5 235 4.38 guy to play around with.

Last Point now throw in a young Oline that gets better every weeek.

If Carson Plamer is anywhere close tobeing Carson Palmer. You might be looking at one of the most explosive offenses inthe game.

It occured to me, we might end up playing the Raiders and Palmer in the playoffs. That would be an interesting twist from our points of view.

Amazing how pedestrian an "elite" QB (Rivers) looks when his offensive line stinks... Palmer was looking good before that fumble.

I was looking at the Playoff Picture and with Oakland's win it would move them to 5-4(of course we still have Sunday's games to be played) and make them the 4th Seed in the AFC. If the Bengals fall to the 5th Seed and Oakland stays the 4th Seed, we could get Raiders vs Bengals in the Wild Card Round, that would be some irony.
