Okay back from vacation and caught up! Finally what I've been waiting for! Love how this is unfolding. It's nice to see a different side of Rick and Hershel.

At this point I think shane is being an idiot. Dude you can have the hot blonde chick! What are you thinking going with Lori? C'mon man!

So happy Dale was killed, sorry to say it... I kinda wished someone put his mind at ease before he passed away, and let him know that they kept the punk kid alive (at least for another week). Speaking of that kid, he really needs to go; he's not as innocent as he's making himself out to be... Oh, and what's with Carl??? Wow.

I've been saying since this show started that the kid is annoying as hell!

Getting real bored of Shanes attitude as well. Always standing around in a way to make him look extra jacked and farmer like. And doing the turn head real quick and tilt it thing when he is mad and talking at the same time. He always has a stick up his butt. Super annoying.


Rick, and Daryl are really the only ones I'm liking lately.


Also I thought for sure they were killing that kid in the barn... I was like "this show is getting more brutal! They really going to hang that kid?"

I was also hoping that teenager was going to upkick Carl right in the mouth in the barn. That would have made me smile for sure

A lot of good points made. Carl's being stupid, I shouted "YES!!!" so loud when Dale was killed I think I woke the neighbors, and Daryl's back to being BA. And Shane and Rick are too inconsistent. Especially Rick. Everytime he does something hardcore and sets the standard for not to be messed with, he goes back and does something soft. Not to mention he gave Dale all the credit for saying "This group is broken" That's Daryl's line. Lesson learned: Don't steal Daryl's line or a walker will tear your chest open.

I didnt give it much thought til today. How is it that a walker that didnt have the strength to get himself out of the mud suddenly has the strength to rip Dales stomach apart??

Nah I think Greg Nicotero explained that the zombies' fingers are sort of so boney that it made it easier. And I don't think it was really a lack of strength that kept it from getting out of the mud, but a lack of intelligence. I was in the minority that said I'd miss Shane more than Dale in the Talking Dead poll. Dale was just dumb and annoying. Besides, that death was way better than the one he had in the comic. And seriously you can't be humane in a situation like that. Randle was messed up. I'm glad he went the way he did. I honestly think Lori had the most to do with Shane's death. I think she gave him hope and brought out Insane Shane again. But I also think he wanted to die. He even put his gun in his belt and he could have pulled the trigger way before that. I'm glad he's dead because he was insane and also showed off his muscles too much. But Lori's whacked too. It's hard to tell. Every time I get excited for someone like Rick or Shane they do a complete 180 and make me lose faith in them. So I vote Daryl leader.

Zombie Shane! Haha that was a great episode last night and the finale should be even better. Walking Dead is one of the best shows on TV right now especially with how Justified is really close to jumping the shark.

I am looking forward to Mad Men and Game of Thrones.

I woulden't call it an army because the Zombies are not organized. It's more like a mosh of Zombies or an unorganized large group of Zombies.

but if it was airborne all you'd have to do is breathe to be infected I would think. Shane saw visions of zombies while he was in transition. Its like its a paranormal thing. I'm hooked, lol.

Maybe it only works once if you are dead/dying? Maybe it is latent in every person and just waits for the blood to stop flowing and all of a sudden it takes over.

I remember a line from an old zombie movie. "When hell is full, the dead shall walk the earth." Who knows at this point. The guy at the CDC seemed guilty over something. Have you read the graphic novel? I have not.

No I havent read the novel either. I remember something odd about the CDC guy too. Maybe hell is full, but then what happens to dead zombies?
