Purple Nurple

The Walking Dead ; Season Two

Oh I already got the first season on blu-ray. And wow what an episode. That was awesome. I still hate Dale. He says what he's doing is for the better of the group, but he just wants Shane dead. Almost everybody agreed that what Shane did was the right thing, but I do believe he's unraveling.

Yeah he can be a d-bag here n there. He's just a little too off the reservation for me. He has his moments and I like him (and everyone else) more than Dale, but Shane is a bit too crazy. I'd still prefer them to committ Dale to a retirement home.

I love Shane. He keeps the whole story on edge. He's perfect in a chaotic world. Everyone else needs to wake up and realize they are all screwed, lol.

Well yeah for the show he is good. In real life I would have blown his brains out.
BTW did everyone like that double gun shot yesterday? I was like dang!

Lori is really getting on my nerves!! Glenn may be my favorite character... Rick and Shane are going to come to blows at any moment.

Man you nailed it there. My faves are Glenn and Daryl. In the online poll for The Talking Dead, I said I'd rather have Rick over Daryl as my leader, but I'd probably love to be Daryl. When Lori did her thing, my friend texted me "Women drivers..." and I said "Should've got a Garmin" And I too think Rick and Shane will come to blows. But my main suggestion is next time they have a zombie in a well, I think they should lower Dale down in there. Even T-Dog said what Shane did was the right thing and Dale has covered for him on numerous occasions. I really think Dale has the most potential to get them all killed. He's just so obsessed with outting Shane killing Otis. Both Rick and Shane have their strong points. Rick IMO was holding on to false hope that Herschel was going to let them stay. Shane did what was necessary. But Rick, as stubborn as he may be is 100% committed to something once he makes up his mind. I thought what he did in last night's episode was among the most BA things that's ever been done in the show.

So if Lori survived her accident, do you think she'll keep the kid or will the trauma be too much?

I still hate Shane because he's on the verge of doing something stupid that will get someone killed. I still think Carol is going to be the next to go because like many of the other victims from that group, once they hit the point of having no real hope or someone close to them, they said "[profanity deleted]" and just quit.

Dale is just picking every which way to screw up, I'm trying to like him, but thinking about his behavior as of late, he needs to grow a pair and stand up to Shane or just knock off the backstabbing. However, I'm not entirely sure he will be bumped off anytime soon, he's the main reason Andrea is even still around in the first place.

Rick caught me off-guard in the bar scene, but I think he knew those two guys were going to be trouble.

So since this chapter is ending, where do we think the group is going to go next?

Lori is proving to be quite the idiot. Seriously you're going to risk your life to go get help when you KNOW that's where they are going in the first place? To get Hershel? I mean c'mon what more can you possibly help with? Oh that's right get into an accident all by yourself.

Instead of SOPHIAAAA!! We get to hear, LORIIIII!!!! Ugh another stupid search.

By the way only 1 walker in this episode and I think he had10 seconds of air time. Kinda lame if you ask me.

I don't want to hear that the camper blows another radiator hose...

Loved the end scene of this past episode.

I pretty much know where they're going next, but I'm not gonna spoil it. I think Lori will keep the baby, but yeah she's an idiot. I don't think anybody is concerned enough about her just wrecking a car. That means they gotta cram into less space when they get moving now. And Dale just needs to go. Him and Herschel need to go to the old folks home.

Yup, i agree with this whole thing. I'm not impressed by season 2 so far. It may be because I keep trying to compare it to the comic book, but a LOT more stuff would've happened by now if they would've followed it somewhat more than they already have.

I kinda like how they're going a different way with the show. I've read the comics and I honestly don't know what to expect anymore and I like it. You also gotta remember The Walking Dead shows how people are way more dangerous than the zombies. You'll all bear witness to that come season three.

In 'Talking Dead' the director for the show said that there will be a lot more zombies throughout the rest of the season. I love that Rick finally showed some grit and killed those people who where obviously going to do anything to save themselves. I have a huge hunch that shanes going to snap soon.

I don't think that's a hunch. From what I saw in the preview for next week's episode, Shane tells Rick "You can't protect them anymore" or something like that and it shows Shane and Rick fighting. And in tonight's episode of The Talking Dead, the clip showed Rick in a dumpster, hiding under a dead walker and Shane, who's mouth was bloody was running from walkers that busted out of a window. After tonight's episode, I don't care if Shane dies, but I definitely want Dale dead too. I know I'm cruel for saying it, but seriously, just stay out of the dude's business. Otis was fat and even though it was an accident, he shot Carl so he was already gonna die. And I agree with what Shane told Andrea. He should have left with her while he had the chance. After tonight's episode, I don't know if anyone is fit to leave the group. You have Shane continuing to be a creeper, Rick can't shoot a guy who was shooting at them and will probably have his group come back for them when they release him and Daryl's just in a funk. Everybody was just losing it tonight. I thought Rick was in control after last week, but tonight he went back to being too humane for the group's own good.

Good episode. For the Talking Dead, I actually voted for Randle to be killed. He may just be a survivor, but I think there's a little more to it than that. It was good to see Andrea kinda put Lori in her place. But right now, I really don't know where the show is going. I feel like I do, but just when I do, they throw in something crazy that knocks things out of balance.

Really liked this episode. People are going to be killing each other before the zombies do.
that's the lesson of the story. There are bigger enemies than zombies.

Yeah id just kill Randle. I wouldnt have saved him in the first place, just shoot him in the head. Puts him out of his misery and you dont have to worry about him anymore.
