Yeah not only did I love the mid-season finale, but I also just finished the last issue of the comic book series. New one to be released December 20th. But yeah that episode was awesome. And I am so torn on what to think of Shane. I like him, but at the same time I hate him for never giving up on the love triangle.

great episode, definitely didn't see that last bit coming. I liked Shane finally taking some control.

I thought they should have whacked the old man for being overly tolerant of zombies, but hey, that's just me.

Damn. I just finished watching the mid-season finale. What an episode. So much aggression. The season definitely took a Shane turn.

I honestly thought they were going to find the girl alive. Should've known better.

I'm not a big tv guy, because lately it's been just terrible with all of the spin off reality shows ect.. My wife turned me on to the walking dead just this season and i'm definitely a fan.
Great characters for the most part. My only complaint would be that they need to crank up the "walker" body count..if it's a series about the zombie apocalypse, then let's see some more zombies! They plot more than makes up for it though.

for anyone who likes this sort of thing, i'll suggest Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide..a great read

Own that book. Love it. Have you read another book of his, World War Z? First person accounts of a zombie apocalypse. It's wonderful.

I just watched the last episode last night, and now I hate the fact that I have to wait until February to see how it all plays out. Am I the only one though who thinks that Shane is completely reckless and will end up bitten by a walker soon? Also based on the last ep, I think we're going to see a fracturing of the group again, and I'm placing the blame on Shane.

Nope. Shane is such a dynamic character and offers more to the storyline than any of the other characters besides Rick. I just can't see them offing him off. He will eventually. But not anytime soon.

Oh dude, Purple, thanks for the good review of World War Z. I need to get a few more bux together and I'm gonna buy it. I was actually at my school book store with a classmate and I saw it there. And you can't place all the blame on Shane. Sure they were safe, but based on Herschel's reaction, I think he finally realized he was wrong about them just being sick.

You're probably right, but I also think Herschel wanted to keep them away because {spoiler in white] [color=#FFFFFF]knew that one of those walkers was Sophie, and it would utterly devastate Carol to see her as a walker. Unless Daryl is able to comfort Carol, there's a chance she could off herself during the next major crisis.[/color]

On a side note, I met Laurie Holden, the woman who plays Andrea. She's really nice and is enjoying The Walking Dead and her character development, so I hope she'll be staying around for the entire storyline.

I got it on B&N with a 20%off discount. My cousin said he's let me borrow his, but he already let me borrow all 14 issues of The Walking Dead. I bought the Audio CD version so I can calmly listen to it on my way to and from school.

Holy crap. There's an audio book? If they read it in different voices and accents it's gonna be awesome. Its all about first person accounts. Don't know about calming, but awesome.

LOL Yeah I was being sarcastic about calming. Well sort of. A classmate of mine isn't into gore, but she still watches the show. When she tells me of times she was freaked or grossed out, I'm like "Oh no way I loved that part." But yeah I thought there was just a paper and hard cover version of World War Z and I was reading reviews and one person said they forgot it wasn't real when they were listening to it on a trip. I was like "I have to get this"

I DL'd it off iTunes last night. Fell asleep listening to it. Cant say I had weird dreams but I had been drinking so....

I'm seriously thinking about DL'ing all of Season 2 onto my iTunes. It's only $2.99 per episode. I can watch it onDemand, but the first two episodes are gone now. Right now I have a serious addiction to zombies movies, shows and books. Even though they're more infected than zombies, I watched Zombieland last night with my bro. Always a great film.

Patient Zero. Awesome action book with zombies. First of a really good trilogy of which Im on the last book now. I can recommend more.

Oh okay. Thanks man. I had heard people talking about this in the comments of videos I saw of cell phone footage of the movie World War Z on YouTube. I'll definitely add it to my wish list. Right now I'm re-reading the zombie survival guide to keep me tied over until I finally get the WWZ audio book. I don't know why I didn't just get it from iTunes like you did.
