Ray Lewis Milestone

34 posts in this topic

No one has mentioned the Ray Lewis milestone set today.

With his sack he became the first player with 40 sacks and 30 interceptions.

Well technically 40.5 and 31, but,,,,

Ray Lewis, like Joe Montana, will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Ray is the man. Besides Patrick Willis, I still wouldn't take any other MLB above him.

thats not fair to neg that post....granted i wont take anyone over ray lewis ever. But Patrick willis is a monster and the closest thing to potentially coming close to ray lewis talent, stats, skills wise.......Oh yeah GO RAVENS!!!!

Considering age & the perception of him declining over the last 5yrs....he is more valuable to us retiring as a Raven since we could never get proper value.

And with that said we are fortunate to have the best MLB & safety of all times on the same team.

It was fitting for Ray to have the defensive play that essentially ended the game. Now...where was that "Ray should come out on 3rd down" thread?? lol

Definitely a 1st ballot HOFer.

Seems to have been a common occurrence for the past 16 years. It's what sets him apart from the rest. He lives for that kind of opportunity.

Congrats to Ray! He deserves all the acclaim that can be given. A true American football HoF icon.

Really? I think I probably enjoyed sitting next to the Texans fans at the Stadium more than talking to our own fans in the GT. The Texans fans have so much more positive comments about our team then some of our own fans.

Sure it is, it implies you would take another MLB over Ray. That in it of itself breaks a cardinal rule of Raven law.

What a beast, it's unbelievable that he is still going strong. Most in-shape player in the league by far

Big Congrats to Ray Lewis! What an achievement!

You've devoted so much time and study to the game and you're reaping all of the benefits! Class act on and off the field and the prime example for a well-rounded football player!

I've noticed that as well. Texans' fans seem to love our team. They are big fans of defense and they aspire for their team to have a D like ours.

Best MLB ever. For those who says he piles on, you can't pile on for Sacks or INTs. It's been a priviledge to watch him and we need to get this Super Bowl to wrap his career up in a bow.
