Jaguars do have a decent rush defense, despite all their other flaws. Ray Rice won't have as big of a game so here's our chance to really get the passing game going, like we did in St. Louis. I expect more Torrey Smith TDs. I really would like to see Lee Evans in as a weapon, but probably could use a few more weeks of rest. Maybe David Reed and LaQuan can get some passes too. I'm not worried about our defense being able to stop Gabbert and the Jags...

but I won't totally write off the Jags because I did that with the Titans and look what happened.

Looking at the numbers, we should roll on them. I can't really think of many....if ANY rookie QB's that have beaten the Ravens D. It generally, just doesn't happen. Jones-Drew, he is the spark plug for that team. This would be a GREAT game for the Ravens to get an offensive tune-up, they will likely have the ball a ton.

We especially need to punish them with the run game, they're a formidable team in Pass D. Though they have given up 3 plays of 40+ yards and opposing QB's have a 85. Qb rating, they're only allowing 210 yards per game through the air.

Really? The Jags just went on the road and almost took down the Steelers. Now we have to play a desperate team, in their home, on MNF. This is NOT going to be an easy game.

Yea, REALLY. Blaine Gabbert, under the brightlights, against our defense... I 'll take our defense any day of the week and twice on Monday. The Steelers coasted, did you watch the game? They scored on there first 3 possesions and then played VERY conservative.
You're looking at the score and NOT what happened in the game, or at least that would be my guess. Mark my words, the Ravens by 13+

I would never take the Jags lightly. They are as tough as they come IMO. Seems like they are on a skid the past 2 seasons and now again this season but they always play tough. Most teams that are in the 6-8 wins per season could easily be in the 10 win column if a few plays go their way. Those are the teams you really gotta watch out for.

Say what you want about Gabbert but I watched some highlights and the kid is running around for his life and still makes some nice plays. I thought he was an impressive rookie. If it weren't for Cam Newton lighting it up and the Dalton kid grinding out wins this season I think more people would take a look at Gabbert.

Steelers did look conservative in the second half though. I don't know what it was but I am thinking injuries got to them and they probably got cocky after their first half.

Why may I ask?

Most of us work the next day. As the Wife's uncle says, "football was meant to be played 1:00 on Sunday"

I don't see the Ravens having a let-down like they did in Tennessee. I'm anticipating a comfortable win.
MNF has never really been good to the Ravens though... I can see a similar score to what Pittsburgh had... maybe 21-10 Ravens.

There might be more Ravens fans there than Jaguars fans.

This happens a lot in Florida.

Much like the Carolina game last year. I remember being able to hear the "Oh!" during the national anthem which I don't think I've ever heard outside of the state of Maryland.

I love Monday Night football!!! However I work third shift I wont be able to watch but twenty minutes of the game. 35-3 Ravens Flacco throws for over 300 yards again and Ray Rice has over 175 total yards. Although this could be another trap game for us being that we normally don't do well in fact of a national audience.

Did U forget Sunday night against the Jets?

Me neither. Hasselbeck is a vet and has always played the Ravens well. Plus Britt was a terrible matchup. If Garrard were still in Jax, I'd be a little more worried, but if the Ravens stuff the run, I don't see how Jax scores unless the Ravens turn the ball over deep in their own territory. Plus, does Jax even WANT to win at this point? They and the Colts are in the running for Andrew Luck, and I think both teams desperately want/need him. I can kind of see the Jax front office releasing a bunch of key players in the next few weeks just to make sure Del Rio doesn't get any funny ideas about winning games (not really, but it's a funny thought).

I don't think anyone's worried about the defense. The defense LIVES for prime time. Flacco is the one who seems to struggle mightily in prime time games though. Then again, he's usually facing the Steelers or Jets, so it's somewhat understandable.

Can someone explain how Jacksonville has a Home MNF game two years in a row(they played the Titans on MNF last season) and we still don't have a Home Monday Night game.

ESPN hates the Ravens
It could be worse. The Detroit Lions went 10 years without even 1 MNF appearance (before this season).

Yeah True, but at least we have had MNF games. I'm talking about a home MNF game, I mean even Detroit's Monday Night game was in Detroit. I don't think we have had a MNF game at The Bank since John has become Head Coach, and if memory serves me correctly our last MNF game at The Bank was that dreadful 2007 Patriots Game.
