Coming into this week of the season, I had no idea that things were going to be scrambled into what we're not seeing.

Still, I think we may be seeing a changing of the guard in the AFC East, especially as two of the original eight members of the "Foolish Club" - New York and Buffalo - are making some noise in a big way.

The Patriots will absolutely win this division. They are the Patriots and they will find a way!

Last season, I would've heartily agreed. However, the Bills have surged and the Jets have always managed to remain contenders lately. I'll re-assess my prediction after the Pats-Jets game on SNF.

The term "Foolish Club" refers to the original eight American Football League clubs and their owners at the time. The Bills and Patriots were two of those eight.

The Phins beat the Skins 20-9. The Bills got annihilated 44-7. Looks like the division will belong to either the Jets or the Brady Bunch, pending tonight's game.

Being back in that 3-4 scheme has done wonders for them. They can win playing defense like that with Brady at QB. They still lack that true threat at receiver, but if anyone can overcome that it's Tom Brady.
