Since Evans is out yet again and Torrey is starting opposite of boldin does David reed come in at #3 or is it a mix of doss and Williams again? I say reed goes in?

Depends on how healthy David really is, I think. I'd like to see Doss there, though.

Thank God i thought i was the only one that was impressed by his hands! why do you think they keep him off the field?

I think it should be Doss. He's earned it in the Preseason, but you never know with 'he who shall not be named' calling the shots on offense.

Nah, man, everyone out there sees that Doss has some insane hands. As to why they keep him off, well, I mean ... I have absolutely no idea. But these guys know more about football than I do, and, more importantly, more about Doss: They see him in practice, talk to him every day, know how he feels about the playbook and know his limits more than anyone on these forums can even hope to guess. So, I guess what I'm saying is, trust the Ravens coaching staff. They know what's going on.

The Ravens normally start the guys that have the best weeks of practice... that's why Torrey stayed ahead of Doss i think, because they always talk about him practicing well. But

Fun Fact: David Reed doesn't have a career reception

Neither did Torrey going into the Rams game, though.

Harbs keeps Doss off the field because he is a special teams nut. (as in fanatic). He has openly said that Doss isnt "quite there yet" with in regards to special teams, meanwhile, Reed, and Williams are pretty darn good contributors on special teams. Games aren't normally loss between kick/punt returns, so I wish Harb's philosophy on these issues would change. We need to cycle in all 3 WR at the 3rd WR position. They each present different skill sets. Doss is a stud, and Flacco hand picked him. I have been casting my vote for Doss since we drafted him.

In regards to pratice - Torrey had horrid pratices, but he was drafted to be "THAT guy". Thats why we started him over all the other WR's.

This is true, but he does have a carry It was a successful end-around I believe he got a decent pick up. If I remember correctly he was about to get some reps last season and then he got injured so it didnt pan out. I think Reed can be a very good slot receiver for us if given the opportunity.

Reed has some speed (if he's 100%) so I would like to see them at least try him and Torrey in there together a few plays. I expect that with all the young guys they will continue to rotate them in and out a bit. I'd love to see Doss get some playing time too.

David reed doesn't have a catch because we had boldin mase n housh last season n that was reeds rookie season n we never go into 4wr sets so with cam we know how that worked out (endaround)....this season he hasn't really played do to injury but I can see him going if he's healthy enough which I think he is n this kinda helps because he's got pretty good speed n it could open things up with him n Torrey together

I think it will be a mixture of Doss/LaQuan/D.Reed. The coaches seem to be higher on LaQuan and Reed than they are on Doss so I expect to see more of them.

I much prefer a rotation of guys at the lower end of the depth chart as opposed to last year.

Been saying it all along but Doss was drafted as an NFL ready receiver in terms of hands and i believe his ability to find space in zones and settle down. As a 3rd wide receiver we have torry smith to stretch the field and even Dickson puts pressure down the seems down field so with those 2 guys threatening big plays doss and boldin along with pitta could have big days in the short and intermediate routs with room to run. The guy is 6 foot 3 as well it really doesnt make any sense to me why he hasn't seen time on the field.

Doss hasn't been playing as much simply because he doesn't provide as much as Torrey does for the goal we are trying to accomplish on offense. Even LaQuan Williams is ahead of doss on the depth chart I'd say.
