I'd take Brandon Marshall regardless of his off-field problems. Lloyd is another Housh or Stallworth. I'd rather just use our rookies until they become better. Nothing beats game experience. Reed will never be anything but a kick returner.

I completely agree on giving all three rookies more playing time. But NONE of them are that big. I feel Lloyd presents that taller, red-zone target. And he also makes some insane catches. And even with his height, he still gets deep pretty often as well.

Boldin is just a slower, bulkier Derrick Mason. If people thought Mason was washed up, just look at Boldin. Denver probably wouldn't even accept that trade, but I'd definitely offer it if I was the Ravens.

I thought this summed up the infamous locker room cancer that is Brandon Lloyd nicely from the Washington Post's DC Sports Bog (during his infamous stint with the Redskins):

Even after the benching, Lloyd was problematic. One key exchange occurred Dec. 17 in New Orleans. The go route -- in which a wide receiver makes a quick move at the snap of the ball and sprints straight down the sideline -- was Lloyd's specialty. In the first half, Lloyd beat his man down the sideline and seemed to be wide open for a touchdown pass from Jason Campbell. But he could not locate the ball and it dropped to the turf.
According to a member of the organization who witnessed the exchange, [Al] Saunders approached Lloyd at halftime.
"Tough one out there. Those lights are tough," Saunders said.
Lloyd looked at him coldly.
"You're joking, right?" he said.
"No," said Saunders. "It looked like you lost it in the lights."
"What? That ball was 10 yards underthrown," Lloyd said. "Go talk to the quarterback."

Anyone who talks to coaches like that is a guy we don't need here. His upside is questionable at best. Look at the Denver WR depth chart and it's apparent how he was able to put up the stats he did and why he has not been able to replicate anything close to that anywhere else. I just don't think we need another receiver now, anyways.

Take it for what's it worth, and right now it's only a report. Jason La Canfora is saying that Brandon Lloyd will be traded to the Rams. This means he will be reunited with Josh McDaniels.

The Deal is not done yet as Adam Schefter says there are a lot of hurdles to go through before completing the trade.

Wow...... how does the Rams get Lloyd for only 6th a Round Pick, that could go to a 5th depending on Lloyd's performance??? That's really cheap.

I just feel sorry for Tim Tebow, Denver just sent his best weapon away.

That's dirt cheap. Makes me believe there was something more going on behind the scenes that made them let him go that easily.

I feel bad for Andrew Luck. Denver just sent his best WR away.

edreedfromtheu. I think the mods should add the last name Bayless to your handle because you sir, you say some things that have not only Ravens fans but all fans scratching their heads lol.

Boldin is a slower bulkier Mason? Really? hes slower than Mason? did you not see him play Sunday?

Seems like the Broncos are trying to sabotage Tebow... no reason to ship off your "franchise" QB's best target for so little.
