Denver is shopping brandon llyod for a 3rd-5th rounder. If lee evans isnt recovering fast enough and if the coaching staff and doctors feel as if lee's ankle wont fully heal then would u want lloyd?
Not sure what i think about this. Id love to have him over lee to be honest

Fat chance but if he can be gotten for a 5th round pick, the Ravens or anyone else should jump on this. Teams in dire need of WR's will be glad to offer a 4th, 3rd, or even a combination of draft picks and I doubt the Ravens would go that high. I'd like to have him though, can't ever have too many weapons.

Texans need a WR
Titans need a WR
etc...

I've never been a fan of the "one hit wonder", so I'd say no. What has he done prior to last year and even so far this year (aside from that nasty catch this past week)?

yea i dont if i classify him as a one hit wonder..
Statistically yes but i believe he was A. Cocky and lazy at a young age B. Was never in a good system with a good qb until last year

he would be a perfect fit for the texans or titans. Could definitely propel them back into playoff status.

Well, maybe he would have been a better option than Lee Evans and "the boot". Elite body control and the probably the best deep ball tracker in the league.

I really can't believe that Denver would let their best receiver leave so cheaply. Even though he is a one hit wonder he makes ridiculous catches all the time. He'd be especially important to Denver if Tebow's accuracy is bad to start with.

I don't think we need him unless Evans' injury is going to linger all year long. You also have to take into account that we already traded our fourth away to get Evans which makes it much less likely we'd give another pick up to get another vet receiver.

His contract is up this year. Thats the only reason i could see denver getting rid of him let alone for so cheap

Denver don't want Tebow to throw; they want him to run like he did in college. Soon, he'll get smacked in the face for running too much.

BTW, Llyod's value goes hand to hand with Orton's value; right now Orton is kicked on the curl so Llyod will be next which is not a surprising situation....

I don't think we need him(assuming Lee gets healthy) but I wouldn't mind going after him. He has ridiculous hands and great speed. The only thing is, it could possibly mess up chemistry. If we didn't trade for Evans in the beginning of the season, I'd be ALL for it.

I gotta admit Lloyd would add a dynamic option to our offense, but after the Evans trade I dont see it happening. We have to move forward with what we have. Torrey has filled in nicely and should only get better with more playing time, and we still have Q2, Tandon, and David Reed.

I see Lloyd going to the Rams. Their young WRs are really struggling with dropped passes, and Lloyd would be reunited with Josh McDaniels. It would be a good fit in my opinion.

Yeah you're probably correct there. It sounds like Lloyd and the Broncos are quite far apart with their financial valuation of Lloyds talents and Denver just wants to get some compensation now rather than let him walk for nothing at the end of the season.

Only if they would take a 5th rounder (we used our 4th for Evans and I wouldn't trade our 3rd) AND the team feels like Evans will never be 100% and put him on IR in which case we would have an open roster spot.

Actually, the game he had last week was his quietest performance thus far. He was averaging just over 87 yards per game for his last 3 contests, which is only 3 yards shy of his 2010 per game average. I believe he's shown that he can be very productive. Personally, I wouldn't classify him as a one hit wonder.

This doesn't make any sense, take away a weapon from Tim Tebow and make him fail on purpose because he doesn't have any weapons. I know John Elway wants Andrew Luck but I guess he is as thick headed as I imagined, does he realize he is also taking a weapon away from Luck if they would he be able to draft him in the first place. This shows Elway doesn't like Tebow and is setting him up to fail, if Tebow is smart he would DEMAND a trade and let's see how Elway likes it being on the other hand of requesting a trade.

Looks like Elway wants to put his own stamp on this franchise and phase out everything from the Shanahan and McDaniel era.

Totally should go for it. Who cares if he's a 1 hit wonder.. he's a top 10 WR especially with Flacco

Lloyd > Q, Evans, Q2, Doss, Smith

Lloyd is going to greatly improve this team, and he'd be with us for 1 year. I don't see why everyones opposed to it. Adding him will not stunt our rookies growth. Don't you guys want to win a SB?

I'd take Brandon Marshall regardless of his off-field problems. Lloyd is another Housh or Stallworth. I'd rather just use our rookies until they become better. Nothing beats game experience. Reed will never be anything but a kick returner.
