Week 4: Baltimore Ravens At Pittsburgh Steelers

Wow man! from a game we were dominating in ALL areas (with the possible exception of special teams...ie...kickoff and punt returns).....we have one out of control idiot (Johnson) commit a ridiculous personal foul which not only turned the momentum around for the team (Steelers), but also got the crowd back into it........

It is amazing how the sentiment here changes :) We all had supreme confidence in Flacco, but now are pretty convinced that we're gonna lose as it is asking too much for him to drive down the field.

I for one cannot really see him putting together an 80+ yard march down the field. Things haven't changed, really; Ben is still off and they still can't run the ball. Problem is that Flacco was never prolific to start off with, so putting him in a come from behind position is tough.

Things have calmed down, we're only trailing by four, get back to the original game plan: rely on the defense. Like I have always thought, though, it is hard to depend on your defense to win games. Flacco is showing a lot of PROMISE, but I just can't see 2008 being the year. The mistakes that he has made recently won't be made in 2-3 years, which we should be ecstatic about.

to hear the commentators talk, you'd think the Steelers were playing solid football the whole game instead of the Ravens.....bunch of biased jerks....

I don't think Ben is stupid enough to throw anywhere near Reed :(

The game has not changed, guys. We are still missing the easy sacks on Ben, he still cannot find anyone down field, the Steelers still cannot run and the Ravens still cannot punch one in.

I am so freaking mad at Johnson. He needs to warm the bench for a few games. We had the Steelers and their fans completely out of this game. We had this game until the flag giving them 15 yards and the first down. Winning this game is important in so many ways.

Hold them to a field goal and we're down by a touchdown. The problem is that Flacco would have to drive 80 yards.

It hurts. We had this game in our hands, sad that people across the nation see us beat ourselves once again.

thank yoiu for saying this.. oh my god thank you.. i make this point all the time and they jump on me for it.. they flip flop to much on this board for me. one min flacco is the savior and next the don't have confidence in him. he hasn't really being playing great. but as long as we winning then yall make excuses for him. i said once before we have gotten use to mediocre qb's. yall think that managing the ball and not turning over the ball means a qb is playing well. it takes more then that to be a good qb. that's why i am hard on flacco because i expect more. now i'm tired of hearing he is a rookie. his has his shot so it's his time to step up. yall keep relying on the defense to save us all the time. yeah they are good.but they can't do it all the time. it's time for the offense to step up and save the day sometimes

I agree 100%.....we can blame this entire turnaround on the antics of one out of control idiot.........until then, we had the fans stunned....the Steelers demoralized and not playing as hard as they could........after that penalty, the intensity level of the players went up 1000%
