Not really.

People will watch the NFL no matter what. Its just that popular.

Even if the NFL missed a season, there would be just as many fans if not more watching the next year.

I'm not doubting that. I'm just saying the NFL players were greedy too. But NBA has just been a circus. I wasn't a big fan of Kobe at first, but he has grown on me and, unlike Lebron, he's not the Roger Clemons of the NBA, going from team to team. The only reason I paid any attention to what happened in the championship was to pray Lebron didn't get a championship. I'm glad Dirk finally got one under his belt after STAYING with the Mavericks for so long.

I'm not a LeBron fan, but nobody can blame him for leaving Cleveland. He gave them 8 years, yet they still were never able to surround him with championship level talent.

I heard the NBA lockout was over. Let me know when the playoffs start because that is the only time I have a mild interest in what they are doing. Maybe if Baltimore had a NBA team I would get more into it.

With the shortened season, the regular season becomes much more important... I think this needs to be a permanent change (66 games or fewer would be perfect).

Looks like CP3 is coming to LA.

I will definitely miss Gasol and Odom. The paint has definitely taken a hit, but man, Kobe + CP3 = best backcourt in the NBA by a mile.
