Well if you are an NBA fan (I am no longer) you should probably look forward to having no season at all. Its not like the NFL where there is money to be made and the question was how to split the pie. In the NBA the money is dwindling.

NHL fans (which I am) can experience just the same at the end of the season since their CBA is set to expire (and it isn't allowed to be extended another year). But they should be able to get a deal done.

This sucks. NFL's my 1 seed, but the NBA is my 2nd. I liked having the Wizards game on in the background almost every night. I'm trying to get used to watching the Caps, but it's just not the same.

I don't follow NBA but didn't they lose games last time there was a NBA lockout? Wait... is DeMaurice Smith anywhere near all this if so, that is why the NBA lost the first two weeks of the season.

To me the NBA means Not Before April so i am not too upset about it.

Yeah, while I like the NBA I don't really care what's going on with their CBA. The fewer games the better I say.

I'm from Michigan, so I'm a Pistons fan. I'm kinda bummed that there's no season, since I like following it. I have 1st and second seeds too.

I don't really want a season. I would love 42 games because of the more competition that would come with each game. I would miss it no doubt but man, NBA gets worse fans every year. Not as bad as Canuck fans thankfully. Maybe this will quiet things down a bit. The NBA lockout got me to realize why I love football so much. I wish there was 82 games of football every year.

82 games. While awesome in theory, can you imagine what players would look like in the post-season?

People were already complaining at the thought of a 18 game season, but a 82 game season, that would be the definition of too much Football.

How many games are in a single NBA season anyway? So 2 weeks lost totals how many games lost?

I'm betting on no season as well. Didn't the last lockout end up cutting them back to 50 games?

Also, NHL will definitely get a deal done because enough owners and players remember how bad they were hurt by the last lockout.

This. Is it official that all NBA Games Through Christmas have been cancelled? At this point Lebron has nothing to lose and quite honestly he probably would have been a better player as a NFL TE than playing in the NBA. With all this talk about Lebron... I am in the process of making him on Madden and creating a young Lebron for NCAA 12 and making sure he comes out within the first two seasons on NCAA 12.

I only watch the NBA around the playoffs and championship series. I really don't care about it the lockout. I don't have a favorite team or player to look forward too either.

It doesn't look like either side is willing to budge. I don't see this coming to an end in this calendar year. Bummer. I was kinda curious to see how bad Jan Vesely was gonna be.

I wonder how accurate NBA2K12 will be on "What could have been" since I don't think we're getting even a reduced season at this rate.
