Who Else Is PO'd About The Titans Performance?

24 posts in this topic

WTH. They could have atleast put up a fight. The Stealers arnt playing that well. I honestly thought The Titans would have put up better numbers then they did , if not win. What a joke.

First off, Big Ben can barely stand and he sure as heck cant put any pressure on his foot. Im just outraged on how we got handed by the Titans and they go flat playing the Stealers.

Did anyone else watch the game??

I'm just disappointed because now the pundits will tout Steelers as the best team in the AFC...
hardly.. They will still say ne is the best and they cant justify putt being better than us either.

Not that it makes that much of a difference, but they were clearly hurting without Kenny Britt. Hasselback could just throw it up to him and Britt would most likely catch it. He didn't seem to have any consistency with his receivers today. But again, this is only the offense, and their defense just played downright terrible for the most part.

Already hearing it on NFL Network about Steelers revival. When the Ravens had a historic defensive performance against the Jets on prime time you barely heard a peep out of anyone there about it. All we got was updates on Ben's foot.

Now they are gushing over themselves about Steelers doing a "man check"?

We have SOOOOOOOO got to sweep them! I try not to hate anyone, but its hard every time I see their stupid little multicolor symbol not to hate them!

GO RAVENS!

The Titans are a young team, playing on the road. They ran into a ticked-off buzzsaw today. Was I the only one who saw this coming?

The Titans did lose Britt, which takes away most of their passing game. They're a lot weaker than they were during Week 2, and the Steelers are better than a lot of people here are giving them credit for.

Nope, I saw this one coming a mile away.

I'm not surprised with the Steelers winning at home. What surprised me was the complete domination considering how many injuried players they have.

Of course the Media eats it up. They hate it that we are playing well and proved them all wrong when we demolished the Steelers in Week 1 but won't give credit when credit is due. Titans were a fluke anyway, and they did the same thing when Steelers beat the Seahawks.

I'm not. My cousin is a Titan fan and all he's been doing is running his mouth since they beat us. Actually going as far as to say how terrible the AFC North. Of course, we're the only division in the entire league that doesn't have a team with a losing record in it. Then after they beat Cleveland, I got to hear how they're going to beat Pittsburgh and their *ahem* "crappy" defense and sweep the AFC North.

He needed knocked off his high horse, and I'm perfectly fine with it today.

To be honest, I didn't. I though the Titans pass rush coupled with the multiple injuries on both sides of the ball for the Steelers would be enough for the Titans to overcome and win. Guess not

Hasselbeck was always that hot and cold QB for Seattle. I knew it was just a matter of time before he returned to form. You also have to give them a little slack since they lost Britt. I knew it would be our luck though that Hasselbeck would have that bad game vs the Steelers.

To be truthful though, I had told my Steeler fan BF that I didn't understand why Pitt didn't re-sign Starks. He said he was injury prone and out of shape. Guess his stock just went way up though. O line for Pitt got it done today. The main reason IMO for the Pitt win.

It's weird that every time Ben has a foot or ankle injury he limps to the field then dances in the pocket like a ballerina. He's tough but I think he overplays it a bit.

He does that with every injury. Of course the media helps to hype it up as well. They played the Titans without Kenny Britt. They played a decent defense. Wait til we're all healthy. I'm not worried or angry at this game. The Titans game is in our past. I'm worried about the Texans.

Gotta agree with ya on that for sure. I think everyone is starting to realize it. I do think he is in pain but... Like you said. He milks the heck out of it. He's probably so dope up on pain killers he probably thinks he is a ballerina. lol

Nope between that and Britt going down it is what it is, our team needs to take care of business and we will be fine, You have to knock down Ben early and often and they did not.,
There is also now film on Hasselbeck with the Titians, which we did not have,

No Kenny Britt.... That's what they ( Steelers fans) would say if the roles were reversed.

I am honestly not surprised by this at all. I was the only person out of 22 people in my weekly football pool to pick Pittsburgh and was surprised. The Steelers are a different team at home and they bounce back well from losses for the most part.

This game was extremely important to the Steelers. They wanted to get back to form so much so that they used 2 of their allotted 22 padded practices (new CBA) during this week. They ramped up the defense.

Plus the game was at home. It really wasn't a surprise. I'm starting to think that the more Ben gets injured, the better he plays. It's almost best to try and keep him healthy. Go figure.

I really think hes over dramatic and plays it up BIG TIME. You'll see him running around fine and then... when he knows the camera is on him he grimaces in pain or starts a major limp.
