Who Do I Start? Chris Perry Or Thomas Jones

7 posts in this topic

Sup guys I need some advice for who to start in my RB2 spot: Chris Perry or Thomas Jones. I LOVE Perry's matchup in cleveland, but it The Jets come out in the lead early, we might see another 100 yard performance early from Jones. What do you think?

Chris Perry. He has scored a touchdown in each game. The Ravens ran all over the Browns last week. I have a feeling the Bengals will get a lead early and Run. Perry has been effective so far, plus he will catch a few passes.

The Jets, I do not think will jump out in a lead, if anything it will turn into a shoot out. Brett Favre will play he always does.

I'd start Thomas Jones. He's matched up well against the Cardinals who have allowed 100 yards rushing each game so far. The jets passing game is shaky and Favre doesn't look like he has chemistry with his WRs yet. So i think Jones is still the jets workhorse and is going to be the game plan against Arizona. Last week portis rrushed for 2 tds on the Cards soo... Cleveland and Cinci are always a shoot out passing game and Cleveland's D-line is far better than Cinci's O-line. Clevelands secondary is WEEAAK so you gotta expect Cinci's game plan to be throwing to Chad Johnson and Tj howyasayit? + if Cleveland picks up a lead on Cinci's even WEAKER defense than Cinci is gonna be doing a lot of passing plays to try and catch up. I have Jones and Perry on my roster so hope this helps.

i dunno dude. cleveland is allowing 145 rushing yards per game. also, if you're making the argument that TJ is going to have more TD's against arizona's 14th ranked rushing D, you have to look at Cleveland's D, which has allowed a league high 6 rushing TD's. Further, TJ had 37 yards last week because when the Jets were down they abandoned the run. The only way I can see TJ producing good numbers this week is if the jets come out on top early. I'm gonna start Perry. thanks for the comments everyone

T. Jones FLEX - 46 RuYd, 23 ReYd, 2 Recpt - 8 FFP
C. Perry RB - 28 RuYd, 15 ReYd, FL, 5 Recpt - 6 FFP

Guess I was wrong about this one - but only by two points in a standard scoring league- and it was due to a fumble. Looks like neither had a good game.

My fantasy league doesnt count receptions just 1 point for every 10 yrds and -2 for FL. So my FFP were:

T.Jones-6 <<horrible
C.Perry-1<<<hideous
