I think pollard will be the starting safety from now on. He just needed to learn the 4-3. but that doesnt mean Zibby amf haku wont get plenty of game time.
Thats whats so good about this team. We can substitute so many people at so many positions its got to scare the bejeebers outa the other teams.
Id like to see him add about 10 lbs of muscle too if he can do it without losing any speed.

Magnificent use of "Bejeebers" lol.

Love watching this guy. Every time he hits someone he hits them as hard as he can. He brings it every play and he doesn't take any crap. If there is a scuffle you know 31 is in the middle of it. I think he brings a lot to our defense and just adds another big hitter. Excited to watch more of him.

Now that he is adjusting to the 3-4 defense, we should start him. Zibby's been decent, but he hasn't impressed me in coverage. It's time to start Pollard regularly.

does this mean he is starting the rest of the year, or just against certain teams, or just bc everyone was hurt at CB?

i love the difference in the packages we can run. My take on all three FS are as follows:

pollard - the worst in coverage, but best thumper. He hits the hardest, plays the run the best, and lays out anyone who comes over the middle.
nakamura - is the best pure cover safety, doesn't have the best instincts on the run
zibby - the best of both of both worlds. he is a quality player in both the run and pass and has the best chemistry with reed back there, hence the starter.

With having Ed always back there, depending on the scenario, we can throw a lot of different schemes and looks while keeping everyone fresh. I am very happy with the addition of bernard.

I think we see more of Pollard against the more run oriented teams, and Zibby more against the more pass happy teams....But IMO Pollard should be the starter, as Zibby is built more as a FS....

I think Pollard should be the starter over Tom he's better if you notice TOM got beat on the kick of return. I don't like Tom Zbikowski. i don't think he's a great tackler, Pollard just brings the "IT" factor, and if you noticed with him starting out Defense was a hole new beast Tom should focus more on his boxing and less on football and just give his spot to Pollard.

he should be the starter every snap for the rest of the season he knocks the [profanity deleted] out of everyone he tackles

I totally agree, Pollard, "PLAYS LIKE A RAVEN" and that is the best compliment any football player can get. I will be surprised if Zibby and Nakamura ever get the starting job back from Pollard.

It is nice when you have a whole team of "Starters". The Ravens are very deep in talent, this may be the best team ever.

We are ability-deep at Safety! It seems all across the board the Ravens have quality ballplayers! It's a great feeling to know that the "next man up" is savvy!

Mr B, Oz, and Harbs have lived up to their word! They have built a championship team that will compete for the Lombardi trophy for years and years to come. Enjoy the ride, I sure am! Tomorrow it's time to root for the Titans and the Jets!
