New 360 Gamer

So, even though everyone knows I'm a devout PS3 gamer (and it's still my primary console), I've decided to bite the bullet and buy an Xbox 360 from my buddy.

Granted, it's an older one and has already gotten the Red Ring of Death in the past, but I absolutely need to play Gears of War 3 and Fable II & III.

So...yeah. (I'm sorry, Sony! You're still my favorite!)

I'm a PS3 man myself but I bought a 360 to also play the Gears series and other exclusives that I wanted to play on the 360. Add me on Live if you want.

Good call on playing Gears of War three. It's one of the best games that I've played, probably THE best. Especially if you've played the previous ones in the series and know the storyline.

Personally I thought Fable 2 was better than 3 but they were both good games.

Purchasing a 360 was a multiplayer must for me. I understand that you are not too in to multiplayer gaming, but I prefer XBL over PSN. There really aren't too many exclusives worth getting on xbox that you haven't already mentioned. PS3 has Metal Gear S 4, God of War, and a few other exclusives that I think rock.

Xbox for me has Gears (great), Halo (so tired of), and Kinectimals (SO DOPE!).

Forgot to mention but I caved and instead bought the new Gears of War 3 Limited Edition 320GB standard Slim bundle with the custom console paintjob and two wireless controllers along with the game.

I haven't regretted my purchase thus far. While I've admittedly been juggling time between both consoles, the balancing act hasn't been too difficult and I don't feel buyer's remorse.

I've only bought console exclusives on the 360 but the majority of my gaming is done on the PS3 since my friends and nephew also have PS3s and share games with me. I'll eventually get around to buying multiplatform games for the 360.

Mines Sz0 ACiiD RaiN, got plenty of space on my friends list. play gears 3, madden 12 occasionally, and a few others.
