[Blogs] ‘Special’ Feeling Brewing In Baltimore

62 posts in this topic

I like what Harbaugh is doing in terms of showing trust to the players and staff, to know what they need to make the most of the bye. Some may be rehabbing to get back to the field, and know that the best place to do that is at team facilities or if they have their personal specialists they work with them on their own. Some may need to get away from the game to clear their head for the long haul. Some could know that a few days working straight technique will get them ready for the Texans. The trust to do what you need to do speaks volumes about the organization and the singular focus. Let's rock the rest of the schedule and tear it up in the post season on our way to the Lombardi Trophy!

Let's hope that this good feeling leads to a good performance over the course of the season and wins, and eventually, the Super Bowl trophy.

I'd love to think that the all the guys who decided to come here this year are super excited about their decisions. It's fate the way everyone came together this year. Let's keep the faith boys and keep on pounding the rock.

Shhhh don't hype em up! These kind of attitudes and camaraderie lead to terms like Festivus Maximus! lol. Seriously though, very good look. I'll take a high spirited team any day of the week that gels over a team full of overpaid talent.

Hopefully, Ray Lewis, and the veterans dont retire, cuz were gonna win it all this season and have a repeat next season, so Lewis can retire with 3 rings!

Whatever this mysterious feeling is i hope it sticks around for the rest of the season. We are one great team this year and this year is our year. All of the pieces are in place and there is no reason for us not to win the AFC championship and win that superbowl in Indy. We have been so close in past years but i really feel like this year is really our year. This team plays with an intensity that no other teams can match.

Our defense is better than Green Bays offense, and our offense better than their defense. But yes we do need to remember, any team - any given sunday. If we continue to play with the heart and desire we have been, then we can't be beaten. Let's stay grounded, and keep pounding the ball on both sides!

As long as we keep executing well and continue our dedication to get better, no one other than ourselves will be able to stop us.

During such tough times in my life i can always count on the Ravens, regardless if it is a article that touches me written by a great journalist or JJ leveling our hated Hines Ward, the Ravens just simply do it for me. From tears to fears, from Smiles to frowns, i love this team and always will!!!

That's the kinda stuff champ's are made of. I love reading stuff like this. it's positive, Can't wait till our next game. Sucks we have a bye. But it's also a good things let the players who are hurt heal. Hopefully Lee Evens, Jimmy Smith, Ben Grubs come back healthy and ready to play football.

Does our defense look bigger and faster in all BLACK. Garcia was totally rattled. I see us getting better and better. Undisputed #1 defense at end of season!

By the way, no one has mentioned anything about this since before the season, but... BIRK HAS BEEN BEAST! Everyone was like "Get rid of him. He's too old." But look at him go! Gurode is an excellent pickup as a backup for our center or guards, but replacing Birk, well, at least not this season. Maybe next year, because I think Birk will retire when he gets his ring at the end of this year :)

the loud fans gets the player so fired up. The louder they are the harder they play & the more mistakes enemy offenses make. Everyone needs to be even louder next Sunday.. Help make M&T Bank the loudest & most difficult stadium in the NFL! Last Sunday was one of the loudest games ive ever seen so lets get even more crazy loud ppl

Feels so much better than 2000 did at this point. A Ravens' defense PLUS a growing offense???? Whew!

Ray getting a second ring will be so sweet - good luck Ray!!!

I agree with you @jumonji, that 2000 team was one that the offense was really there only to give our defense a breather :-)
This team actually has a great QB and some super fast WR's!
What's not to love!

@bigbully,
you know it!!!! That stadium was rocking! I don;t think I've ever heard it that loud! Our fans know when to turn it up too!
I LOVE being a Ravens fan!
