McGahee should be better. He's only what, 4-5 years younger than Ricky? Especially at the RB position, age does matter.

And we'll never know. All I know is, 7 million dollars is too much for a backup RB that got 100 carries. If you're saying that we should have kept McGahee instead of cutting him and getting Ricky, you're crazy. Williams is doing good as a change of pace back, and I really don't think that can be argued. We're getting what we would get from McGahee for 5-6 million dollars less.

No I honestly believe if he was denvers starting rb he would be doing just as well as ricky.

You have yet to prove this. Your attempt to prove it has you using two disimilar situations.

Mcgahee hasnt done anything this year ricky hasnt except mcgahee got more carries to do it with.

Mcgahee left just like why le'ron left. Wanted a bigger individual role. Ricky signed with baltimore because he wasnt looking for the starting role but content with playing for a contender.

Ricky is asked to spell rice
Mcgahee is asked to carry the load
two different teams two different roles yet you act like its an easy comparison based off stats...

I don't think Ricky Williams is better than McGahee in the least. McGahee however, wanted more of a role than we were in a position to offer him with Rice being our #1 guy. I hated seeing McGahee move on but there was little else to be done. I am happy he is on a team that needs him as a #1 guy right now and that he is doing well. He would not have gotten the carries he wanted here and therefore would not have been happy.
