Since I didnt see one, I'd like to dedicate this to all the Ravens who we departed with this offseason, and track their performances throughout the year, since many of us are still fans of their play.

I think there is another thread like this but if you just keep updating the original post, that would be awesome.

i would just like to say that i called it in my original ex-ravens thread back in preseason week 1:

Willis McGahee - didn't get to see his plays but apparently he had two carries for 17yds, one of which went for 12yds. i think he's gonna be pushed to #1 back. knoshawn moreno? remember how reed handled him? please. i think willis will show them all what tough is
Willis is getting the starting job in denver

..but it may be because knowshon was/is hurt most of the time..

and i feel sorry for ex's Justin Bannan, Dwan Landry, Kelly Gregg and others for landing on bad teams.

I feel for Buddy Lee and Willis but not Landry. He may have been able to stay had he taken less. He's a good player but not worth what the Jags are paying him.

Agreed, same with Jason Brown who left us for money. He got mad at (Suggs I think?) helping Bradford off the turf, obviously he was mad at more than that.

As nice as it sounds that McGahee is getting the starting job, his numbers tell me he's still inconsistent in his play, much like he was with the Ravens. The job is for him to lose if he doesn't improve.

The only ex-Raven that is doing good is Willis McGahee but there was no way the Ravens were going to keep him on making $6 million as a backup RB. If he would have taken a paycut, he would still be here and Ricky Williams would be elsewhere. I don't blame Willis though.

it's kyle boller time in Oakland

I feel so bad for the Raiders...but yeah I was really sad to see some of our people go, especially Heap and Wilson. But seeing their replacements makes me feel a lot better. We definitely made all the right choices in my opinion in letting the people go.

I don't know, Wilson is probably better than Webb, although I haven't been so bored as to watch an entire Redskins game yet this seasons so I'm not sure how well he is playing for them.

I would definetly have to give Mason the Edge over Evans because Mason actually plays every week, but hindsight is always 20/20 as the saying goes.

Wins & Loss Record Week 6:

Ravens: 4-1, Leading AFC North

Chiefs(Signed Gaither, McClain and Gregg) 2-3, 3rd in AFC West

Cardinals(Signed Heap) 1-4, 3rd in NFC West

Jaguars(Signed Landry) 1-5, 3rd in AFC South

Jets(Signed[s] Mason[/s], Scott, Leonard) 2-3, 3rd in AFC East

Redskins(Signed Wilson & Stallworth) 3-2, 2nd in NFC East

Houston(Traded for Mason) 3-3, 2nd in AFC South

With the exception of Washington & Houston every team our players have signed with are all sitting 3rd in their division, while we are 4-1 and have double the amount of wins than Arizona and Jacksonville combined and we just beat Houston.

I added Houston since they have Mason now.

I feel badly for Heap. I felt bad for Mason too (despite his little knock about the "best chance to win a SB") but he's on a better team now. I still feel very very bad for Heap. While I kind of understand it, I did not like Mason getting booed here. :(

Landry definitely was not Leonhards replacement.....
Leonard was a Strong Safety and he replaced Landry when he got hurt for the season. So when he left, Landry took his spot back again, replacing Leonard. There is no doubt that if the Ravens who have kept him, he would have been battling Landry for the starting spot the following season.

Willis McGahee is beasting! We would've kept him if we didn't have Rice. I'll continue to root for him (especially since he's on 2 of my fantasy teams ;) )

I'm happy for Willis McGahee's success. He's in a system that works for him.

If he stayed in Baltimore, it's hard to see him having similar success even as the starter. It's a different offense with different personnel and a different philosophy.

McGahee is not Ray Rice -- but Denver never needed him to be Rice. And that's more than good enough for Willis.

I figure this would be the best place for it......... Former Ravens Center/Guard Jason Brown has been benched in St. Louis. This is huge as the Rams Offensive Line is already in shambles so to be benched on one of the worst lines in Football is saying something. Though the Rams haven't really said why they are benching him and say it has nothing to do with his performance.

http://profootballta...er-jason-brown/

Well he hasn't really done well being on the Rams, so it seems another Raven who goes for the money and ends up getting nowhere. Jason Brown probably wishes he took less money to stay with us.

That's weird. Maybe he was late for practice a few too many times or something.

Can't believe some people on here were trying to tell me Ricky Williams was a better back than Willis McGahee.
Yeah because them being used differently and against different teams is proof of anything

Its not like ricky has a better ypc with us than mcgahee did or on pace for more yards with us than mcgahee had. No lets compare the back up role to the starter on a different team

McGahee's long TD against the Raiders was sweet. I kept waiting for him to be chased down but it never happened.

Hope he keeps on the good running(not just for my fantasy team).
