Jets @ Ravens Week 4 Montage Is Up. Enjoy

Yea but what would be the fun in that if you knew what was going to happen next , ya know. Plus i try and make the video flow a certain way. I actually had a few more clips that i wanted to put in for the Offense, like Laq. Williams catching that laser pass from Flacco. I should of because im a real, real big fan of Laq. but i ran out of time (music) and honestly i pulled an all nighter doing it. I started at 12 30 AM and didnt get done til 4 30PM, maybe took a 40 min break in there some where. The main thing that takes me the longest is actually recording it to my computer, then naming each clip and then converting it, (converting takes anywhere from 45mins to and hr and 45 mins.)
Editing it is the easiest and funnest honestly, i really like doing it, but the hardest part is the beginning because i know i have alot of work ahead of me, but when im an hr or so into it, im fine.

Also im pretty sure someone had to notice that i didnt have the fumble recovery for a td in there, only the reed strip, lol bu the time i realized it wasnt in there, i was 8 clips reels passed it and had them sinked in with the music and i was getting tired.

Im actually going to try and make a video for every ravens game that they win. Only reason i didnt make the Rams one is because who was going to watch that, the rams are 0 and 4 and im not going to waste my time in making videos that no one is going to watch. There was Plenty of highlights though, i wouldnt of had to worry about that what so ever. I still wish we would have won the TITANS game but there was going to be no way what so ever to make a montage on that game. There were no highlights for the RAVENS at all. There were plenty of highlights for the Titans. though.

Thanks buddy, but curious, what clips are you talking about. In the Stealers one, i ended up remaking the montage because it somehow got erased and i was halfway done with it. Trust me i was pissed, you have no idea. I actually said screw it and walked away but for some reason i ended up in my computer chair and i was editing again. But like i was saying in the Steelers one, i had this really great clip of Big Ben that i put in the first one and i didnt put it in the final one, and it would have been that much better trust me. If we win the next one against the steelers and they are wearing the same uniforms, ill be sure to put it in. Thats why im not going to say what he was doing.

Oh i think i know what you are talking about, are you talking about highlights that they dont use, The Webb pick 6, i made from custom, there were 3 different camera points and full clip highlights from the 3, i actually spliced them together. No one probably realized it but I was actually proud of that. I dont even have to watch replays on the nfl network ever because ive seen it like 30 plus times lol and i know them by heart, i feel like a player watching game film for hrs on end.

And all the clips i keep just incase i want to make a Season Ravens defense montage or Offense if they can keep up with what they do everyother game it seems like, need more consistency. Good thing i have TB of HDrive. lol

That, and, in the Jets montage, how you showed clips of the offense actually being productive. Also, other defensive plays besides the turnovers, and the Kruger/Mason scuffle.

Yea when i was going through it, i was like , What the. I didnt see that when i was watching the game. (him flicking up his helmet), im sure not alot of other people did either, so i figured i put it in there. Plus it gave it a nice touch. lol

Nah the stuff, im learning how to do right now is very time consuming , hopefully you guys will start seeing atleast by the end of the season, If it works out like i hope, they will be 10 times better. But like i said its time consuming and honestly its a b. to learn. But im hopeful,

Thanks for all the great comments, Im working on an intro that will be for all the Ravens montages that will be up for now on, hopefully ill have it ready for the Texans game (assuming we win, hopefully), if not it will be in there by the next Stealers game and on.

I use Sony vegas and Windows movie maker. Kinda use both of them and mess them together. Sony has alot of options that i havnt even scratched, but for the most part its good for intros (vegas). Ive been working on an intro for a while but i not happy with it yet and no one will probably see til the end of the season. And yea i like editing , just wish i got into it years ago.
