Why Is Webb The Punt Returner?

With all the injuries at cornerback how come we continue to put Webb as the PR? I thought thats why we signed LaQuan for?

Been talking about it since last week. LaQuan just got his first NFL rep last week as both KR and PR so I think we'll see LaQuan doing both KR and possibly PR.

I know that you have to put the guy who gives you the best chance out there but starting cb or 3rd/4th wr hmmmm. that's a no-brainer in my opinion. Plus if Webb goes down we are in trouble.

With our luck as far as corners go, I think Laquan should see some more time.

He's good at it, but right now we've got big problems at cornerback. Carr may be out and if Webb goes down, that just won't be good.

im pretty sure laquan's first punt return opportunity he muffed it...so doesnt seem as if hes quite ready in a game time pressure situation to actually catch a punt with guys in his face

It is one of the dumbest things that keeps on continuing, i dont get it either honestly. Laq. or T.Smith could return punts and kick offs.

Agree, but not because he is so valuable (which he is) but honestly i dont trust Ed Reed returning punts or kick off. He doesnt secure the ball. Thats my main problem, when Reed gets an int. Im excited but at the same time i waiting for him to fumble it.
