23 - 10 ravens, no way mark sanchez moves the ball against our d, especially with a broken nose trust me its painful... one or two hits by sizzle& ngata, he'll be dying to get rid of that ball and Ed will be there to take it from him.

Ben did just fine with a broken nose.

I'm not underestimating Sanchez for a second because 1) our secondary is seriously suspect and 2) he just has the most ridiculous luck ever. He must be the single luckiest QB in the league.

If Sanchez is pressure, I see the Ravens winning. If not, it's going to be a long night.

a broken nose shouldn't affect ones play but iv'e broken my nose and its up there as one of the most painful things iv'e felt, and with the jets o line struggling i just cant see the jets keeping sanchez off his back all game, and when the pressure is there dirty gets flustered very easily. That being said our cb's and pass protection have to come to play, i just like the match up of our D against there offense, idc how good holmes is an average qb with a hurting line is a great match up for our defense

Ravens 24 Jets 16. Our secondary is tested but our red zone defense holds tight. Joe throws 2 touchdowns, 1 to Boldin 1 to Dickson and no picks. Rice has a 15 yard score.

Ravens win 24 - 16.

Jets settle for FGs

Big game from Ray Rice over 150 yds combined in rushing and receiving. 2 TDs
Big game for DIckson and Pitta as they will combine for more than 10 receptions and 150 yds.
The Defense will give up 3 FGs and 1 TD but will get 2 INTs. One INT will seal the game as the Jets will make a furious rally in the 4th with a late TD and pull within 8.

Ive always called him that too lol. I just avoid talking about him usualy, because it gets heated when the name "Sanchize" is brought up in the same sentence with any respectable
quarterback. Dirty Sanchez is just a sample of the not-so-nice names I have for this guy.

If the week 1/week 3 Ravens show up: Ravens 20 Jets 10
If the week 2 Ravens show up: Jets 17 Ravens 9

Not sure why this was negged. I'm alarmed at how many people think this will be a cakewalk. Our secondary is still terrible, and Sanchez has already had two 300+ yard games. You better believe the Jets will come out passing on first down.

There's gonna be a mountain of crow to eat in this forum if we lose. Lots of VERY confident people. I believe we will win, but so many are proclaiming it already that I feel a jinx about to give us a slam down.

Right? This is feeling like the Tennessee game. Everyone being extremely confident, all of the analysts picking us, etc.

Here is my bold prediction.

One team wins (3-1) and one team loses (2-2). Quote me on it.

Done.

You know what? Now that you mention it, you're right. We're gonna lose this game, although we should bounce back and beatdown the Texans. We're still looking at 8-8 though. Bummer :(

It's OK to be less straight forward as a lot of us Raven fans. But as I've said in countless threads before, the Jets are who were thought they were. (Or at least to me) Last year the scoreboard didn't show what was going on. Q had 100 yards receiving and Heap had close to 80 with Flacco almost hitting the 250 mark. That is with a fraudulence offensive line and no running game whatsoever.

This year, I believe we're a lot better on the O-line and in the running game. The WR's and TE's are faster and I don't see any reason to get in an uproar concerning the Jets. Especially since they're hurt and resemble the Ravens D-line of last year. And on top of that, they have the second coming of Ryan Leaf in Mark Sanchez. They win of spite of that boy... I swear lol.

If we lose to the Jets I'll feel as we've lost to an inferior team just like the Titans game. Final score...

27-14 Ravens

I do believe we will win this, but it will be a much more sobering experience all around. Im extremely worried about our secondary, not necessarily Sanchez, but their wideouts will make it easy enough for most QB's to play good. Front seven will play spectacular but those clutch WR's the Jets have will not make it a pretty win.

Ravens - 24
Jets - 20

Ravens are gonna start strong but have to really rally together to stop a 2nd half burst from the Jets.

If we had jimmy smith carr and naka, a full secondary this wouldn't even be close.. are front seven are vital. If we don't get pressure with plax physicality and Holmes speed, sanchez given time could be thrown to almost open recievers. But in sayin that I think kindle has a huge came (activated by default) if he's used on 3rd downs. He could be one on one with a te or fb with then concentrating on suggs and ngata. Close game 20 17 ravens
