Trading For Chris Johnson

9 posts in this topic

This trade is currently pending and will be processed by tomorrow early morning.

I give:
Beanie Wells - I consider him a solid RB 1 since he is the workhorse in Arizona and averages 5.7 ypc
Willis McGahee - I consider him a producing RB 2 because he's getting goalline carries, but he shows no game changing potential
Jimmy Graham - Solid TE as they come, double digit every week

I get:
Chris Johnson - I like how his schedule goes for the playoffs week (NO, Indy, Jac) and this is one of those times, CJ2K owners have lost patient with him and try to get rid of him. I could've waited after the Cleveland game and Pittsburgh game to see if I can trade for CJ2K with even less players, but I think he's going to breakout in Cleveland.

12 Team PPR (.5)
QB: M. Schaub, J. Flacco
RB: Arkansas Razorbacks, Reggie Bush, Kendall Hunter, Beanie Wells, McGahee
WR: Mike Wallace, Santana Moss, David Nelson, Jacoby Ford,
TE: Gronk, Graham

Waiver Pick-ups (pick 1 because I already used an extra spot on Jacoby):
Jason Campbell - so I can use his points from the NE Shootout
Jared Cook - With Britt injured, maybe this is his time to shine
Michael Jenkins - Nothing Special, but does produce points
Lance Moore - Gets points, but in a crowded WR Corps
Michael Crabtree - He is too talented not to produce

Why would you want Chris Johnson... 12 points is johnson's high

beanie wells has more points in 1 game then chris johnson does all year. and you traded a top 5-10 TE......

not to be a [profanity deleted], but you kind of deserved what you got.

Any other year before this one, you would've got a steal. But this year, no. You got jacked dude lol. Beanie Wells is carrying the load for the Cards, Willis is sharing with (and do better than) Moreno, and Graham is probably a top 3 fantasy TE so far this season.

CJ isn't even in the top 25, and people like Tim Hightower have more fantasy points then him. Ouch.

I'll even go one further. A top 3 TE. Graham is legit. If I were drafting today, I would draft him as the #3 TE behind Finley and Witten.

I have no problem with this trade though. In hindsight you gave up too much. But you had a lot of depth and wanted a potential stud. Ahmad Hall comes back from suspension next week and will help CJ.

Don't know why you would want CJ2K surprised anyone can get decent trade bait for him. I was ahead of the curve traded him like week 3 for Sproles & Finley working out well for me.

wow, so did you call the cops yet? CJs back up got more points this last game than cj has had all year. you should of kept your depth because you never know what will happen. Cj is easily the biggest bust this year, hands down.
