Need Help Deciding Between Scrubs

6 posts in this topic

First of all, thanks for the previous help. I believe it was PU who told me to start fred jackson the past 2 weeks and man did that pay off.

Basically my RB position is not my strong point. I have 2 RB slots and 1 RB/WR flex spot to fill. Here are my options:

Tim Hightower
Fred Jackson
Joseph Addai
DeAng Williams
AJ Green
Thomas Jones

My thoughts are to go with
RB1: Fred Jackson
RB2: Joseph Addai
RB3/WR3: Hightower/Jones

Thinking out loud, Green might have a nice game and Jones might be called upon a bit more. DeAng Williams is just a total bust so far for me, he has been riding my bench.

All help, as usual, is greatly appreciated!

Don't even get me started on the DeAngelo situation. It's just a bad one for fantasy. I drafted J-Stew to backup DeAngelo and that didn't help. Both guys are just eating away at each others values. It might be better if they bench the 40M dollar man for a game so he can come back fired up.

This has been the season of big contracts - little output.

Jackson is must start. Forget Jones and DeAngelo. I like HIghtower very slightly over Addai. I think the Bucs will focus in on the Colts run game and make Painter beat them. Plus they are away from the home dome.

If the Bills are legit they should put away the Bengals early which would mean plenty of passes for AJ. Bills are giving up the 8th most fantasy points to WRs in the league. So the matchup is there. I like the chances of AJ having a big game. Addai is the safer option though in the flex.

DeAngelo has been screwing me over all season, don't play that bum. Of those I'd play Hightower, Jackson, and A.J. Green. I would never play Addai in any situation whatsoever though, and Thomas Jones doesn't have a lot of value.

as always, thanks for the input!

I just hate to see Hightower's carries decrease each week.

I hear you. I own him in one league. He is getting the job done but not much more on top of it. Helu is showing a little more burst. But good news for HIghtower is that he's still a big part of the passing game.
