Lloyd is Antonio Bryant part 2. Remember him? Had one good year and Bengals signed him to a huge contract. Let's think about this. Lloyd has been widely inconsistent his entire career and he has one good year. Is there a better chance it is coincidence or a trend? If it takes a guy until he is 30 to breakout then I will say there is a better chance it is a coincidence.

And risking our team chemistry for Marshall is just not worth it. Great, another guy who will demand for the ball. Just what we were trying to avoid....

Stick to what we got. Sometimes standing pat is better than trying to trade in for something. If it ain't broke

Well, 1 hit wonder or not..he was all-pro..that speaks for itself. He's still playing at a high level and it's not his fault his whole career he's had terrible QBs.

Also Lloyd > All our receivers
Q isn't a true #1 receiver anymore.. Lloyd is.

There's no doubt of his talent. That's not why Brandon Marshall is a polarizing figure.

I understand that he has been a bit of a misfit, but he has been on some terrible front office teams. I haven't herlard much from him in miami

Derek Anderson was all pro once....Doesn't mean anything. Also, great wr's make plays REGARDLESS of the qb. Aka Fitzgerald, Calvin, even Santana Moss caught 90 receptions last year. No excuses. Lloyd throughout his career has been inconsistent, and has been known to drop the passes he should make, and make the unbelievable catches when no one thought he could. That's fine and dandy, but to be a successful wr it has to be done consistently. Which Lloyd isn't.

So we are going to overpay for a one hit wonder (who has done nothing this year, don't blame it on Orton because Eric Decker has been way better than Lloyd with Orton) who is over 30. Great, just what we need, another old receiver; weren't we trying to get rid of them this year?

Make a move for Eagles CB DRC, he hasn't played well in the slot with no sideline.
No. Our CB's are actually pretty good. We have no need for him whatsoever.

I was thinking depth and potential but I guess durability at the CB position hasn't been an problem for us.

It would be nice to have more depth, but DRC comes with a hefty price tag, and imo that would be overkill. Webb, Cary, and Jimmy could possibly be the best CB group in the NFL next season.

We don't know a thing about Jimmy Smith on the NFL level yet. Cary has had a solid year so far but it's just been a few games. If we can get some depth at DB, I'd be all for it. Our DB's often find ways of getting hurt. Saying that our secondary could be the best group next season is a little premature, don't you think?

Harbaugh's tenure has been marred by our CBs being put on blast for injuries for some reason. Its really kind of odd, next year I'll bank on 2 more getting hurt.

Your kidding right? He's had one good year, and that was in the Josh McDaniels type offense. Now McDaniels left, and hes nothing again.

283 yards, 0 Tds. While i agree, he has had crap for QB's, he's still not better than Boldin.

Could be a little premature, but I've seen flashes of greatness from Cary, Webb, and Jimmy. Although he hasn't played in the regular season, Jimmy had a pretty good showing against Bowe in the PS. I see a lot of potential in our secondary. They are young and very talented, and capable of being the best.

Which puts him at over 70 yards per contest, even with the 20 yard performance last week. Not at all arguing whether he's better than Boldin. But had he not missed for the week 3 due to injury, he'd be on pace for over 1,100 yards, which is a little more than nothing.

Still that is 2 million dollars and a draft pick on a guy that isn't worth it. Sure he might be a decent fill in guy for now, but trading away late round picks hurt teams. Thats where we get our Mcphee and late round surprises that complete our team's depth. Regardless of the pick, if it is giving up something to get him, it isn't worth it. Trading picks for one year players isn't worth it.
